Studenca (pronounced  [stuˈdɛːntsa] ; in older sources also Studenec, [2] German : Studenz [2] ) is a small dispersed settlement in the hills northeast of Kamnik in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia. It includes the hamlets of Spodnja Studenca (German : Unterstudenz [2] ), Zgornja Studenca (German : Oberstudenz [2] ), and Zabreznik. [3]

Typically, there are a number of separate farmsteads scattered throughout the area. A dispersed settlement contrasts with a nucleated village.
