The Sunday Independent, technically the Plymouth Sunday Independent, is a newspaper formerly based in Plymouth, then in Liskeard, Cornwall, published on Sundays throughout south-west England. The paper was founded in 1808 and had a circulation of 7,261 in 2003.

The Sunday Independent is an Irish populist Sunday newspaper broadsheet published by Independent News & Media plc, under the control of Denis O'Brien.
