The Super League Greece 2 (Greek : Ελληνική Σούπερ Λίγκα 2) is the 12 team second division of professional football in Greece, being a feeder-league to the top-level Super League played over 22 rounds.

History

The league was founded in 2019, after the restructuring of the Greek football league championships, [1] replacing the Football League (former Beta Ethniki) as the second level in the league pyramid.

Twelve (12) clubs are participating in the league's first season of operation.

The Gymnastics Club «Ergotelis» Heraklion Crete, commonly known simply as Ergotelis, is a Greek professional football club, department of the multi-sport club Gymnastics Club Ergotelis, which is based in Heraklion, Crete. It is the club's oldest and most successful department, officially established in 1929 and named after the famous ancient Cretan expatriate Olympic runner Ergoteles of Himera. Diagoras F.C. Football club

Diagoras Football Club is a Greek professional football club based in Rhodes, Greece. It was founded in 1905. Diagoras is named after the island's ancient boxer Diagoras. The team first played under Ottoman Rule until the short lived independence of the Dodecanese in 1912. No matches at all were held during the Balkan Wars and the team did not play with Greek teams until the Dodecanese joined with the rest of Greece in 1947.

Chania FC Football club

Chania Football Club is a Greek professional football club based in Chania, Crete, Greece. They were established in 2017, as a result of a merger between the two regional clubs representing the Chania district in the Greek Second Division, PGS Kissamikos and AO Chania. The club currently plays in the Super League 2, the second tier of the Greek football league system.

The 2019–20 Greek Cup is the 78th season of the Greek Football Cup. A total of 84 clubs are accepted to enter. 14 from the Super League 1, 12 from the Super League 2, 14 from the Football League and 44 previous season local Cup winners. The Second Leg Semi-Final matches and the Final were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Greece until June.

The 2011–12 season is PAS Giannina F.C.'s 17th competitive season in the top flight of Greek football, 2nd season in the Superleague Greece, and 46th year in existence as a football club. They also compete in the Greek Cup.
