Suragabad (Persian : سورگ اباد‎, also Romanized as Sūragābād; also known as Sūregābād-e Chalpaee)^[1] is a village in Sorkh Qaleh Rural District, in the Central District of Qaleh Ganj County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 534, in 107 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Sorkh Qaleh Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Qaleh Ganj County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 19,860, in 4,220 families. The rural district has 50 villages.
