The KISS principle states that most systems work best if they are kept simple rather than made complicated; therefore, simplicity should be a key goal in design, and unnecessary complexity should be avoided. The phrase has been associated with aircraft engineer Kelly Johnson. The term "KISS principle" was in popular use by 1970. Variations on the phrase include: "Keep it simple, silly", "keep it short and simple", "keep it simple and straightforward", "keep it small and simple", "keep it simple, soldier", or "keep it simple, sailor".
Goodie Mob is an American hip hop group based in Atlanta, Georgia. It was formed in 1991 by Big Gipp, Khujo, Cee-Lo, and T-Mo. In 1995, Goodie Mob released their debut album, Soul Food, which was critically acclaimed and certified Gold. The album aired social and political issues such as racism, discrimination, geopolitics, and gentrification. The debut single "Cell Therapy" reached number 39 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Billboard Hot Rap Singles chart. Goodie Mob is part of the Dungeon Family, a hip hop/R&B musical collective, based in Atlanta, Georgia.

First Aid Kit is a Swedish folk duo that consists of the sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg, born in 1990 and 1993, respectively. When performing live, the duo is accompanied by a drummer, a pedal steel guitarist, and a keyboard player. In 2008, they gained some Internet popularity from their cover of the Fleet Foxes's song "Tiger Mountain Peasant Song".
