RCTI is a West Jakarta-based Indonesian free-to-air television network. It is best known for its soap operas, celebrity bulletins, news, and sports programmes. It was first launched in 1989, originally as a local pay television operator that broadcasts mostly foreign programmes, before switching to free-to-air terrestrial network a year later.
The 1962 Asian Games also known as the 4th Asian Games, IV Asiad, and Jakarta 1962, was the fourth edition of pan-Asian multi-sport event sanctioned by the Asian Games Federation (AGF). The games were held from 24 August to 4 September 1962, in Jakarta, Indonesia. It was the first international multi-sport event hosted by the then-17-year-old Southeast Asian country. This was the first of two Asian Games hosted by the city: the second was held in 2018, with Palembang as the co-host.

It is owned by Media Nusantara Citra (MNC), which also owns RCTI, MNCTV and iNews.
TVRI, legally Lembaga Penyiaran Publik (LPP) Televisi Republik Indonesia is an Indonesian national public television network. Established on 24 August 1962, it is the oldest television network in the country. Its national headquarters is in Gelora, Central Jakarta.

MNC Vision, previously known as Indovision, is a direct-to-home satellite television and radio service that operates in Indonesia on a subscription basis. It is owned by PT MNC Vision Networks Tbk, which is a subsidiary of MNC Asia Holding. MNC Vision is the oldest subscription-based television service in Indonesia and is known for its slogan "Pay TV Keluarga Indonesia," which means "Pay TV for Indonesian Families."
PT Indonusa Telemedia, operating under the brand name Transvision, is a subscription-based direct broadcast satellite service provider in Indonesia. It is primarily owned by Trans Media, a subsidiary of CT Corp.
Television in Indonesia started in 1962, when the then state-run station TVRI began broadcasting – the third country in Southeast Asia to do so. TVRI held a television monopoly in Indonesia until 1989 when the first commercial station, RCTI began as a local station and was subsequently granted a national license a year later. The Indonesian television is regulated by both Ministry of Communications and Informatics (Kemenkominfo) for frequency matters and Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) for content matters.
MTV Indonesia was an Indonesian free-to-air television network, part of MTV. The network was launched on 5 May 1995, It was the fifth MTV version launched in the world, and first to broadcast via free-to-air television. MTV Indonesia later became part of programming block on ANteve along with MTV Asia programs, before moving to the newly inaugurated network Global TV on 7 March 2002, it was closed for the second time on 1 November 2015.

In 2022, Vidio was the largest video on demand service provider in Indonesia, beating Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, and Amazon Prime Video.
Nickelodeon is a pan-Asian pay television channel operated by Paramount Networks EMEAA and owned by Paramount International Networks, based in Singapore and broadcast to audiences in Southeast Asia and certain regions in Oceania like Polynesia and Papua New Guinea. The channel was launched on 1998 and mainly broadcasts original series from Nickelodeon's namesake television channel in the United States.
Fox Sports Asia was a pan-Asian pay television network broadcasting in Asia, operated by Fox Networks Group Asia Pacific, a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company Pte. Ltd. It also oversaw a version of Star Sports available in Mainland China and South Korea. Originally launched in early 1990s as Star Sports and ESPN by Satellite Television Asian Region and ESPN International respectively, both parties agreed to combine their operations in Asia in October 1996. News Corporation took the full control of the venture in 2012, and relaunched the channels in two phases in January 2013 and August 2014, respectively.

Multipurpose Ansor Front, better known as Banser, is an Islamic militia organization based in Indonesia. It is a paramilitary wing of the youth organization Ansor Youth Movement affiliated with Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), the largest Islamic mass organization in the world. Banser operates as a semi-autonomous body of GP Ansor and mainly serves for the security and humanitarian operations. Combined personnel of Banser doubles the number for the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), making Banser a political heavyweight which holds the key to the national stability. Throughout the history, Banser had played major roles especially in issues related to religion, from the active participation in Indonesian mass killings of 1965–1966 against the perceived members of Indonesian Communist Party, to the more recent development of standoff against Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia. In terms of political orientation, Banser, along with GP Ansor, is characterized by traditionalist Islam, populism and nationalism.
Consumer News and Business Channel Indonesia is an Indonesian television network owned by Trans Media in collaboration with Comcast's NBCUniversal under CNBC license. Launched on 10 October 2018, and began Free-to-air broadcast on digital terrestrial television since 2020 with carrying this channel by Trans TV and Trans7 digital transmitter rest of Indonesia. The channel is the second business-oriented news channel in Indonesia after MNC Media/iNews Media Group/Indonesian Stock Exchange's IDX Channel.
Vision+ is an Indonesian over-the-top video streaming service owned by MNC Group. Established on 15 January 2020, Vision+ service's content consists of video on demand contents, free-to-air and premium channels and livestreaming events & sports.
