Sławice [swaˈvit͡sɛ] (German : Slawitz, 1936-45: Preisdorf) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dąbrowa, within Opole County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.^[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) east of Dąbrowa and 6 km (4 mi) north-west of the regional capital Opole.

Gmina Dąbrowa is a rural gmina in Opole County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Its seat is the village of Dąbrowa, which lies approximately 14 kilometres (9 mi) west of the regional capital Opole.

Between 1871 and 1945, the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II ).
