Television in Hong Kong is primarily in Cantonese and English. It is delivered through analogue and digital terrestrial, cable, IPTV, and the Internet. Satellite TV is not common, although many housing estates have dishes and re-distribute a limited number of free channels through coaxial cables. The dominant broadcaster is TVB and ViuTV.

Fairchild TV or FTV is a Canadian Cantonese language exempt specialty channel. It is owned by Fairchild Group, with Hong Kong broadcaster TVB holding a 20% minority stake. Fairchild TV has studios in the Greater Toronto Area and Greater Vancouver.

ATV World Hong Kong television channel

ATV World, was one of two free-to-air English language television channels in Hong Kong, the other being its arch-rival TVB Pearl. Its sister station, ATV Home, broadcast in Cantonese language. It is owned and operated by Asia Television, and was broadcast from the ATV Enterprises Office at 25–37 Dai Shing Street in Tai Po Industrial Estate in Tai Po, which is in the Tai Po District, in the North East region of Hong Kong's New Territories.

TVS Television, originally known as Southern Television Guangdong is a regional Chinese language sub-network under Guangdong Radio and Television in Southern China. TVS is based in Guangzhou and covers mainly in Guangdong and Hong Kong. Most of the channels programming and broadcast is mainly in Cantonese, with additional Mandarin Chinese broadcasts.

TVB J2 is a Digital TV Channel specially established by Television Broadcasts Limited, a commercial television station which first began broadcasting in 1967, for their new and free digital TV network in Hong Kong. It was officially launched on 30 June 2008.

<i>Chor Lau-heung</i> (1979 TV series)

Chor Lau-heung is a Hong Kong wuxia television series adapted from the first three novels in the Chu Liuxiang novel series by Taiwanese writer Gu Long. Adam Cheng starred as the titular protagonist, Chor Lau-heung. The series was first broadcast on TVB on September 3, 1979. The 65 episodes long series was divided into four parts: The Legend of Mo-fa (無花傳奇), The Great Desert (大沙漠), Legend of the Divine Palace (神宮傳奇) and The Final Battle (最後一戰).

ATV Home was a free-to-air Cantonese television channel in Hong Kong, owned and operated by Asia Television. It was formed in September 1963 as a result of the split of the bilingual Rediffusion Television subscription service into dedicated Cantonese and English-language services. In 1969, the broadcaster was granted a license for over-the-air broadcasting.

Astro Zhi Zun HD began broadcasting on 16 June 2010 as Astro's first Chinese-language channel and non-English language HD channel. This channel will mirror 80% of the content on Astro Wah Lai Toi, including drama series and sitcom on weekdays, variety shows, game shows and travelogues.

Tiger Cubs II, alternatively titled Special Duties Unit II, is a 2014 Hong Kong police procedural television drama produced by TVB under executive producer Lam Chi-wah. The serial premiered on Sunday, 19 October 2014 on Jade, HD Jade in Hong Kong, TVBJ in Australia, Singapore and Astro Wah Lai Toi, Astro Wah Lai Toi HD in Malaysia. It stars Joe Ma, Linda Chung, Him Law, Oscar Leung, Mandy Wong, Benjamin Yuen and Christine Kuo as the casts of the second installment. It over the time slot previously occupied by Shades of Life.

TVB Finance & Information Channel is a 24-hour non-stop Cantonese finance information channel based in Hong Kong and operated by TVB. The channel provides financial and monetary information, and also different documentaries. It is currently the only finance & information channel in Hong Kong.
