1991 Southeast Asian Games

The 1991 Southeast Asian Games, officially known as the 16th Southeast Asian Games, was a multi-sport event held in Manila, the Philippines from 24 November to 3 December 1991, with 28 sports featured in the games. This was the second time that the country hosted the games and its first since 1981. It was officially opened by President Corazon Aquino at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila through a colorful opening ceremony. Daniela Di Toro is an Australian Wheelchair tennis player. Di Toro was the 2010 French Open doubles champion and has also been the Masters double champion. In singles Di Toro is the former world number one and two time masters finalist. In 2015, she moved to para-table tennis and represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics. She was team captain with Kurt Fearnley.

The Pan American Table Tennis Cup is an annual table tennis competition held in the Americas since 2017. It consists of men's and women's singles events. Only 16 invited players and no more than 2 players per association are allowed to participate in each event.
