Taobei District (simplified Chinese :洮北区; traditional Chinese :洮北區; pinyin :Tāoběi Qū) is the main urban district of the prefecture-level city of Baicheng in China's northeastern Jilin province. It was formerly the county-level city of Baicheng until 1993, when the former Baicheng Prefecture became Baicheng prefecture-level city, while the prefectural capital Baicheng county-level city was renamed Taobei District.
There are nine subdistricts, five towns, and 10 townships.
Taonan, formerly Tao'an County (洮安县), is a county-level city of 100,000 in the northwest of Jilin province in Northeast China. It is under the administration of Baicheng prefecture-level city.
Yuhong District is one of ten districts of the prefecture-level city of Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning Province, Northeast China, and forms part of the northwestern and western suburbs. It borders Shenbei New Area to the northeast, Huanggu District to the east, Sujiatun District to the south, and Xinmin City to the west; in addition, Tiexi District also lies in between the two parts of Yuhong.
Lingxia is a township of Taobei District, Baicheng, in northwestern Jilin province, People's Republic of China, located less than 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) southeast of the border with Inner Mongolia. It is served by China National Highway 302 and G12 Hunchun–Ulanhot Expressway, and as the crow flies, is more than 40 km (25 mi) northwest of downtown Baicheng and 37 km (23 mi) southeast of Ulan Hot, Inner Mongolia. As of 2011, it has 5 residential communities (社区) and 11 villages under its administration.
