Tap Tap or Tap Tap Revenge was a series of rhythm games by Tapulous available for the iOS of which several versions, both purchasable and free, have been produced. The goal of the game is to tap each of the colored balls when they reach a line at the bottom of the screen. If the ball is hit on the beat, the player gains points, but if not, it counts as a miss. If a player taps the screen without a tapper on the beat, the streak will go back to 0 and a few points will be lost except for 16x. There were also "shakes", which required the player to move the iPhone, iPod touch or iPad to the right, left, or backwards. The apps were pulled from the app store and had their servers shut down in February 2014.
Tapulous, Inc. was an American software and video game developer and publisher headquartered in Palo Alto, California. It was a wholly owned subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company as part of Disney Interactive's Disney Mobile unit. The company's most profitable products were the Tap Tap series of music games, which surpassed thirty-five million downloads.

On March 3, 2009, Tap Tap Revenge 2 was released.Tap Tap Revenge became the most-downloaded free application on the App Store only three days after its release, and reached half a million downloads over that period.

In October 2008, Tapulous announced that they were working on a premium Nine Inch Nails-branded version of Tap Tap Revenge, including a special Nine Inch Nails skin and 16 songs from the band's albums Ghosts I–IV and The Slip , some of which would be specially edited for the game.

In an interview with USA Today , Gaga mentioned, "my record label might kill me for saying this, but you are essentially purchasing my album for $4.99 and you are also getting a game. Sunflat Games is a video game company based in Japan. While they design games for the PC, they are best known for their successful line of iOS games. The company has begun converting their games for use on the Android-based HTC Dream. The games can be found on Google Play, and some have recently been added to the Mac App Store and Windows Phone 7 Marketplace.

It is the first game in Tapulous' Tap Tap series. Development for the game began prior to the release of the iPhone SDK, and was originally entitled Tap Tap Revolution. Doodle Jump is a platforming video game developed and published by American studio Lima Sky, for Windows Phone, iPhone OS, BlackBerry, Android, Java Mobile (J2ME), Nokia Symbian, and Xbox 360 for the Kinect platform. It was released worldwide for iPhone OS on March 15, 2009, and was later released for Android and Blackberry on March 2, 2010, Symbian on May 1, 2010, and Windows Phone 7 on June 1, 2011. It was released for the iPad on September 1, 2011. Since its release, the game has been generally well received. The game PapiJump by Sunflat Games inspired the gameplay of Doodle Jump, and characters featured in Doodle Jump were based on Elise Gravel's illustrations. The game is currently available on nine platforms.
Riddim Ribbon featuring The Black Eyed Peas is the first installment in Tapulous' new series of music games, succeeded by Riddim Ribbon Free. It features three tracks by The Black Eyed Peas plus more tracks that can be purchased from Apple's in-app purchase. It is the first installment in this series of games. Previously Tapulous had created games in the Tap Tap series including Tap Tap Revenge, Tap Tap Revenge 2 and Tap Tap Revenge 3.
Command & Conquer: Red Alert is a 2.5D real-time strategy video game developed and published by Electronic Arts for iOS. It was released in October 2009 in the App Store.
The Moron Test is a mobile brain teasing game developed and published by American studio DistinctDev, Inc. for the iOS and Android platforms, and is one of the best selling iPhone applications of all-time. The Moron Test was initially released on April 20, 2009 for iOS and was released for Android on May 13, 2010. Its format is inspired by IQ tests that pose seemingly simple questions in order to extrapolate broad indices of intelligence. Upon its initial release on iTunes, The Moron Test became the #1 top selling app in the U.S. App Store. The app has repeatedly reached a Top 10 Overall ranking and has been in the Top 100 Overall apps for over 450 consecutive days in the US App Store. On September 10, 2010, DistinctDev released The Moron Test: Section 1, a free version of the game on iOS, offering the "Old School" section. Two months after the Android platform launch, the free version received more than 700,000 downloads, the paid version became the 9th most downloaded paid game with over 65,000 downloads on the Android market. The Moron Test has seven sections: Old School, Late Registration, Winter Break, Food Fight, Skip Day, Tricky Treat, and Ooga School. The latest iOS version of includes an in-app purchase for the Extra Credit section, Flying Colors.
Rock Band is a music video game released for the iOS. It was co-developed by EA Montreal and Harmonix, and was published by Electronic Arts and MTV Games. The game was released as a part of the Rock Band series for download through the App Store in several regions on October 19, 2009. On May 2, 2012 RockBandAide announced that EA intends to discontinue Rock Band with servers being disconnected and support being dropped on May 31, 2012. However, EA stated that the message was "sent in error" and the app will remain available to those who purchased the app. It was later announced that due to an expiring contract with Harmonix the game would be removed from the App Store. This occurred on July 31, 2012, and the game is now currently unavailable; though users who have previously downloaded the game can continue to play it.
Angry Birds is a 2009 casual puzzle video game developed by Rovio Entertainment. Inspired primarily by a sketch of stylized wingless birds, the game was first released for iOS and Maemo devices in December 2006. Since that time, over 12 million copies of the game have been purchased from the iOS App Store, which prompted the developer to design versions for other touchscreen-based smartphones, most notably Android, Symbian, Windows Phone, and BlackBerry 10 devices. The series has since expanded to include titles for dedicated video game consoles and PCs. A sequel, Angry Birds 2, was released in July 2015 for iOS and Android.
Riddim Ribbon Free is the second installment in Tapulous' new series of music games, preceded by Riddim Ribbon feat. The Black Eyed Peas. It features Like a G6 by Far East Movement as a default track. Similar to Tap Tap Revenge 3, there is an in-app store where players can buy premium tracks or redeem them with store credits.
Submissions for mobile apps for iOS are subject to approval by Apple's App Review team, as outlined in the SDK agreement, for basic reliability testing and other analysis, before being published on the App Store. Applications may still be distributed ad hoc if they are rejected, by the author manually submitting a request to Apple to license the application to individual iPhones, although Apple may withdraw the ability for authors to do this at a later date.
DJMax Mobile is a version of the DJMax rhythm action game specifically developed for mobile phones. As of 2011, two separate titles exists of the game from separate developers who licensed the DJMax brand from the Pentavision. These mobile games were available only in Korea. DJMax Mobile has two different gameplay styles. First mode is similar to DJMax Portable series where you press physical buttons at a specific time. However, if you mobile phone has a touch-screen capability you can also play the game in year 2009 version using mode which is similar to DJMax Technika where you do very specific touch gestures to control the game. DJMax Mobile games are not considered as a part of the main game series because they weren't developed by Pentavision and quality of these games is average even when compared to other similar mobile games. Both of these games are discontinued. The spiritual successor for the DJMax Mobile series is called Tap Sonic.
Pretty Pet Salon is a strategy video game developed by Hong Kong studio Dream Cortex and published by Animoca The game was released on January 26, 2011 for iOS and on May 13, 2011 for Android devices. An HD version was released for the iPad in February 26, 2011, followed by an Android version on May 13, 2011. The iOS versions were taken down for a time on January 15, 2012 but since then the franchise has reappeared on Apple's App Store. Pretty Pet Salon titles on the Android Market and on the Amazon Appstore were unaffected.
Temple Run is a 3D endless running video game developed and published by Imangi Studios. The player controls an explorer who has obtained an ancient relic and is running from evil demon monkeys who are chasing him. The game was initially released for iOS devices on August 4, 2011, and later ported to Android systems and Windows Phone 8.
The Simpsons: Tapped Out is a freemium mobile game for iOS and Android, based on the American animated series The Simpsons. It allows users to create and maintain their own version of Springfield using familiar characters and buildings. The game is regularly updated with new content, often season and holiday themed, for example during holidays like Thanksgiving, and Treehouse of Horror episodes-related content for Halloween. The game is available in several languages such as English, French, Turkish, Italian, German, Simplified Chinese, Peninsular Spanish and both European Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese. The game was developed and published by EA Mobile and launched in Europe on February 29, 2012 and in North America on March 1, 2012 for iOS and February 6, 2013 for Android. The game was released for Kindle Fire devices in several markets on June 24, 2013. According to its own estimates, EA generated over $130 million in revenue since the game's release.

Carmen Sandiego Returns is a 2015 social studies puzzle adventure video game, part of the Carmen Sandiego franchise. It is developed by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and uses Intel RealSense Technology in order to enhance the immersive nature of player interaction. The educational game aims to teach players about world geography and culture to its 10–14 year old target market.
