Tekken is a Japanese media franchise centered on a series of fighting video and arcade games developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The franchise also includes film and print adaptations.
Tekken 3 (鉄拳3) is a fighting game, the third installment in the Tekken series. It was released in arcades in March 1997, and for the PlayStation in 1998. The original arcade version of the game was released in 2005 for the PlayStation 2 as part of Tekken 5's Arcade History mode. The game was re-released in 2018 as part of Sony's PlayStation Classic.
Tekken 5 (鉄拳5) is a fighting game developed and published by Namco in 2004 for the arcades and in 2005 for the PlayStation 2. It is the sixth main installment, in the Tekken series, marking the tenth anniversary of the series. The game was upgraded to Tekken 5.1, which had mostly balance changes to the gameplay, and later an update Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection which was released for arcades in 2005 and later ported to the PlayStation Portable as Tekken: Dark Resurrection and on the PlayStation 3.
Anna Williams is a fictional character in the Tekken fighting game series, first appearing in Tekken in 1994. Anna is the narcissistic and arrogant younger sister of the quiet and serious Nina Williams, the personal bodyguard of Kazuya Mishima and second-in-command at G Corporation. She is also, although unbeknownst to her, the aunt of boxing competitor Steve Fox. She is defined by her rivalry with Nina, a trait that has been around since the original Tekken game.
Asuka Kazama is a video game character in the Tekken video game series by Namco Bandai Games. Introduced in Tekken 5 in 2004, Asuka is a brash and hot-headed Japanese teenager who is best known for her archrivalry with fellow teenager Lili. Through her father, she is also related to both Jun Kazama and her son, Jin Kazama, although these relationships are rarely touched upon in the series. Appearing in every instalment of the series since Tekken 5, Asuka has received a positive reception from critics and fans, and is often seen as one of the most popular characters in the series.
Nina Williams is a fictional character from Namco's Tekken fighting game series. A cold-blooded Irish professional assassin, Nina made her first appearance in Tekken, the original game in the series. Notably, Nina, is one of four playable characters and the sole female character, to appear in all main installments in the series, with the noticeable exception of the original arcade version of Tekken 7. She also starred in her own spin-off game, Death by Degrees.
Kazuya Mishima is a fictional character in Bandai Namco's Tekken fighting game series, first featured as the protagonist in the original 1994 game and later became one of the major antagonists of the series after the first. The son of worldwide conglomerate Mishima Zaibatsu CEO Heihachi Mishima, Kazuya seeks revenge against his father for throwing him down a cliff years earlier. Kazuya becomes corrupted in later games, seeking to obtain more power and later eventually comes into conflict with his son Jin Kazama. Kazuya possesses the Devil Gene, a mutation which can transform him into a demonic being known as Devil. Devil has often appeared as a separate character in various games. Kazuya is also present in related series media and other games.
Jun Kazama is a fictional character from the Tekken fighting game series, who made her debut in Tekken 2, her first and only canonical appearance to date. Following an ambiguous relationship with Kazuya Mishima, she became the mother of Jin Kazama.
Mokujin is a fictional character in Namco Bandai Games' Tekken video game series. Mokujin first appeared in the 1997 video game Tekken 3. Mokujin does not have his own fighting style. Instead, he mimics fighting styles from other characters, which varies from match to match.
Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection is a fighting video game and an update to the PlayStation 2 game Tekken 5. The arcade version was released in Japan in December of 2005 and later worldwide in February of 2006, while the PSP version was released as a home version of the Tekken series later that year in July 2006. The game was also released as a downloadable game on the PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Network online service in Japan in 2006 and the rest of the world in 2007. A sequel, Tekken 6 was released in 2007.
Emilie de Rochefort, more commonly known as Lili, is a fictional character from the Tekken fighting game franchise by Bandai Namco Entertainment. She was introduced in the 2005 arcade game Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection as an affluent teenager whose role in the series involves clashing with her businessman father over her participation in the series' King of Iron Fist fighting tournaments, and her later dealings with Jin Kazama's devious Mishima Zaibatsu corporation. Lili has been used to promote the Tekken games, is featured on official series merchandise, and has made crossover game appearances outside of the Tekken franchise. She has received mostly positive critical reception for her gameplay and character design.
Tekken Card Challenge is a Tekken video game released for the WonderSwan. It uses the characters from Tekken 3, including an exclusive playable character to the game, Crow, which previously appeared as NPCs in the original.

McElroy and is based on the fighting game series of the same name. Its story follows Jin Kazama in his attempts to enter the Iron Fist Tournament in order to avenge the loss of his mother, Jun Kazama, by confronting his father, Kazuya Mishima and his grandfather, Heihachi Mishima, the latter of whom he thought was responsible for her death. It stars Jon Foo, Kelly Overton, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Ian Anthony Dale, Cung Le, Darrin Dewitt Henson, Luke Goss, Marian Zapico, Lateef Crowder, Candîce Hillebrand, Anton Kasabov, and Roger Huerta.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is a sequel to the Tekken fighting game series, released on June 9, 2012. It received an update, subtitled Unlimited, on December 15, 2012. A console version based on the update was released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in September 2012, prior to the update. It was ported to the Wii U as one of the system's launch titles in November 2012, subtitled Wii U Edition.
Tekken Hybrid is a 2011 fighting video game collection released exclusively for the PlayStation 3. It consists of the film Tekken: Blood Vengeance, with a remastered version of Tekken Tag Tournament and a demo version of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 called Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue. Tekken: Blood Vengeance is accessible if the disc is loaded onto any Blu-ray player. Tekken Tag Tournament HD is based on the original PlayStation 2 version and features updated HD visuals, similar to the God of War Collection or The Sly Collection, and includes trophies.
Tekken Comic is a manga series created by Rui Takato based on the eponymous series of fighting games. Created in honor of the 15th anniversary of the Tekken game series and is available with permission from Bandai Namco in the online version of the magazine Ultra Jump. March 19, 2010 published the first printed volume manga.
Tekken Revolution was a free-to-play fighting video game developed and published by Namco Bandai Games. It was released on the PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Store in June 2013. It is the first game in the Tekken franchise to be made free-to-play and the first to be released exclusively in digital format. It is no longer available in Europe as of 2016.
Tekken 7 (鉄拳7) is a fighting game developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It is the ninth overall installment in the Tekken series. Tekken 7 had a limited arcade release in March 2015. An updated arcade version, Tekken 7: Fated Retribution, was released in July 2016, and features expanded content including new stages, costumes, items and characters. The home versions released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows in June 2017 were based on Fated Retribution.
