Terry Butler is an American bassist who currently performs with the death metal bands Obituary and Massacre. He was also a member of Six Feet Under and Death. He was credited on the Death album Spiritual Healing, and band leader Chuck Schuldiner stated that on the latter Death album "Terry contributed to the songwriting as well".
Terry Butler was an Australian rugby league player. He played for Wynnum-Manly Seagulls in the Brisbane Rugby League premiership's grand final victory in 1982 as a winger, scoring the first try of the match. The following year he was selected to represent Queensland in Game II of the 1983 State of Origin series. He later had an uneventful year with the North Sydney Bears in the New South Wales Rugby League competition in 1986. He died aged 58 of cancer in 2016.

From 1899 until 1995, it was known as "Lawkholme Lane". Football is also played at the ground, with Steeton A.F.C. moving into the ground in 2018. Previously, Silsden F.C. had played their home matches at the venue between 2003 and 2010.
