Thakur Ram Singh Legendary Veteran RSS leader

Thakur Ram Singh was a veteran Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) pracharak from Himachal Pradesh, India, and the inspiration behind the Akhil Bharatiya Itihas Sankalan Yojana. He headed the Itihas Sankalan Samiti of the RSS. He was given the responsibility of leading the Akhil Bharatiya Itihas Sankalan Yojana in 1988. He started this work under the guidance of veteran RSS pracharak Moropant Pingle, who had a major role in founding this project.

Thakur Ram Singh (1911–2009) was an Indian Communist Revolutionary and associate of Bhagat Singh. He started his political life as a congress activist but was attracted towards the ideals of Bhagat Singh and his Hindustan Socialist Republican Army. Thakur Ram singh was sentenced to life imprisonment in Andaman Nicobar's Cellular Jail for his role in Dogra Shooting case of Ajmer. Inside the jail he has formed a 'Communist Bloc' and lateron after his release from the Andaman's he had joined the Communist Party of India and during the days of Sino-Indian War he had supported the split in the communist movement and was the founder member of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) Uttar Pradesh Committee.

Captain Ram Singh Thakuri was an Indian Gorkha freedom fighter, musician and composer. He composed, the Indian National Army a number of patriotic songs including Kadam Kadam Badaye Ja and Subh Sukh Chain whilst serving in the Indian Army.

Bandit Queen is a 1994 Indian biographical film based on the life of Phoolan Devi as covered in the book India's Bandit Queen: The True Story of Phoolan Devi by the Indian author Mala Sen. Chandra Shekhar Azad, popularly known as by his self-taken name Azad, was an Indian revolutionary who reorganised the Hindustan Republican Association under its new name of Hindustan Socialist Republican Army (HSRA) after the death of its founder, Ram Prasad Bismil, and three other prominent party leaders, Roshan Singh, Rajendra Nath Lahiri and Ashfaqulla Khan. He often used the pseudonym "Balraj" when signing pamphlets issued as the commander in chief of the HSRA.

Amba Prasad, also known as Sufi Amba Prasad, was an Indian nationalist and pan-Islamist leader notable for his involvement in the agrarian unrest in Punjab in 1907 and subsequently in the Revolutionary movement for Indian independence. Prasad was born in 1858 in the north Indian city of Moradabad, then in the United Provinces. Prasad was born without his right hand. He later worked as a journalist in Moradabad when he became involved in the emerging nationalist movement. He was at this time the editor of the Peshwa. His editorials were noted for sarcastic and unsparing criticisms of the Punjab government policies. He was incarcerated twice in 1897.
