REO Speedwagon is an American rock band from Champaign, Illinois. Formed in 1967, the band cultivated a following during the 1970s and achieved significant commercial success throughout the 1980s. The group's best-selling album, Hi Infidelity (1980), contained four US top 40 hits and sold more than 10 million copies.

It was the group's second number-one hit on the U.S. charts and reached number sixteen in the UK. "Can't Fight This Feeling" has appeared on dozens of 'various artists' compilation albums, as well as several REO Speedwagon greatest hits albums.
Algérien was a Cannon-class destroyer escort originally named USS Cronin (DE-107) after Cornelius Cronin, a sailor who was awarded the Medal of Honor during the American Civil War. She was transferred to the Free French Naval Forces in 1944 and became part of the French Navy post-war. She was rated as a frigate in French service. She was renamed Oise in 1962 and scrapped in 1965.

Mount Cronin is a mountain in the Babine Range of the Skeena Mountains in northern British Columbia, Canada, located at the head of Cronin Creek in Babine Mountains Provincial Park just northeast of Smithers. It has a prominence of 1,571 m (5,154 ft), created by the Harold Price-Fulton Pass, making it one of Canada's Ultra peaks. The mountain was named after James Cronin, who operated a mine on this mountain in the 19th century.

The 13,877-foot (4,230 m) thirteener is located in San Isabel National Forest, 12.9 miles (20.8 km) southwest by west of the community of Nathrop in Chaffee County, Colorado, United States. Cronin Peak was named in honor of Mary Cronin, who in 1934 become the first woman to climb all 53 Colorado fourteeners.
