The Goal is a Hindi drama film based on the short story written by Bengali writer Prafulla Roy, released In 1999 produced by Children's Film Society, India and directed by Gul Bahar Singh starring Irrfan Khan as a coach. The film has won several national and international awards. [1] [2] [3] The movie was shot in many parts of Batanagar thereby the craze of people during this movie's shooting time was unmatchable, as many of people there love playing Football more than anything. This was his first movie that being shot in West Bengal with many other Bengali actors in lead.

The film is about a child Manu (Tapas Dhali) who belongs to a poor family and loves to play football but no one accepts him to play in their team because of his family background however Anupam is a football coach (Irrfan Khan) finds Manu talented and decides to coach him. After spending some time coaching Manu, coach Anupam thinks that Manu is eligible and decides to play him in a semifinal match for his club but other players and their parents declined to play with Manu because his father is a thief and he belongs to a lower caste. Anupam finds himself helpless and doesn't want such a talent to die so he puts Manu in the rival team to play against his own club. [4]

Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns is a 2013 Indian romantic thriller drama film directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. It is the sequel to the 2011 film, Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster and the second installment of the Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster film series. The film stars Jimmy Sheirgill and Mahi Gill, who reprised their roles from the previous film, while new additions to the cast include Irrfan Khan and Soha Ali Khan. The film was released on 8 March 2013. Jimmy Shergill won Best Actor Award for this film at 11th Norway Bollywood Film Festival in Oslo. A sequel titled Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3 was released on 27 July 2018 and got poor reviews because of its poor script and weak plotlines.

Khan plays the protagonist, an "everyman" who is discontented with a failing marriage and an autistic son Buddhi played by Dhruv Panjuani. He is constantly blamed by his wife Padmini, played by Shobana, for their son's condition. After meeting a scientist Dr. Sathya, played by Anupam Kher, Ravi obtains a drug which cures mental disorders from him and injects Buddhi, leading him to become intelligent. However, in the process, Buddhi starts to forget his parents and friends, leading to uncontrollable tragic events.

No Bed of Roses is a 2017 Bangladeshi-Indian drama film written and directed by Mostofa Sarwar Farooki. It was produced by Abdul Aziz, Himanshu Dhanuka and Irrfan Khan under the banner of Jaaz Multimedia and Eskay Movies along with Irrfan Khan Films. It stars Irrfan Khan, Nusrat Imrose Tisha, Rokeya Prachy and Parno Mittra. The story builds up around the members of two families discovering the finer fabric of love when the headman of a family dies. The theme is that death doesn't always take things away: Sometimes it gives back. It was selected as the Bangladeshi entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 91st Academy Awards, but it was not nominated.

Angrezi Medium is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language comedy drama film directed by Homi Adajania and produced under the production banner Maddock Films. A spiritual sequel to the 2017 film Hindi Medium, the film stars Irrfan Khan, Radhika Madan, Deepak Dobriyal and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Filming began in Udaipur on 5 April 2019 and was completed by July in London. This was Irrfan's final film to be released before his death on 29 April 2020.
