Synopsis

The film revolves around an elusive kidnapper known only by the name Eric, who has terrorized communities in the southern part of Nigeria for over a decade. His reign of fear leaves victims and their families traumatized. However, when he takes on a job that brings the law closer than ever before, the stakes escalate dramatically. [6] [7]

She is known for Isoken (2017), Sugar Rush (2019), Brotherhood (2022) and Gangs of Lagos, the first Nigerian original film set to stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. In September 2022, Osiberu's Greoh Studios signed a three-year deal with Amazon to develop and produce original scripted TV series and feature films.

The film was released to cinemas in Africa on 23 September 2022. The film started showing simultaneously in several African countries including Nigeria, Cameroon, Benin Republic, Burkina Faso, Togo, Niger Republic, Senegal, Congo, Rwanda, Gabon, Guinea, and Madagascar.

Gangs of Lagos is a Nigerian gangster crime thriller film produced and directed by Jade Osiberu, starring Tobi Bakre, Adesua Etomi, Iyabo Ojo, Demi Banwo, Chioma Akpotha, Damilola Ogunsi, Tayo Faniran, Zlatan Ibile, Bimbo Ademoye, Toyin Abraham, Yvonne Jegede, Yinka Quadri, Chike, Pasuma and a host of others. The film premiered on Amazon Prime Video on April 7, 2023, as the first Amazon Original Movie from Africa.
