Thomas A. Stewart (March 2, 1848 – April 22, 1920) was an American farmer and politician.
Born in Verona, Wisconsin, [1] Stewart studied at the Northwestern Business College and University of Wisconsin. He was a farmer and stock raiser, and he married Jessie Rutherford (1850–1913) of Verona. [1] He served on the Dane County Board of Supervisors and in local government. He served in the Wisconsin State Assembly from 1907 to 1911 and again from 1913 to 1915 as a Democrat. [2] He died in Verona, Wisconsin. [1] [3]
Charles Stewart, was a Canadian politician who served as the third premier of Alberta from 1917 until 1921. Born in Strabane, Ontario, in then Wentworth County, Stewart was a farmer who moved west to Alberta after his farm was destroyed by a storm. There he became active in politics and was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta in the 1909 election. He served as Minister of Public Works and Minister of Municipal Affairs—the first person to hold the latter position in Alberta—in the government of Arthur Sifton. When Sifton left provincial politics in 1917 to join the federal cabinet, Stewart was named his replacement.

Bernard John Gehrmann was a German American immigrant, farmer, and Progressive Republican politician. Henry Allen Huber was an American lawyer and progressive Republican politician from Stoughton, Wisconsin. He was the 25th lieutenant governor of Wisconsin, serving from 1925 through 1933. He also served 12 years in the Wisconsin Senate and two years in the Wisconsin State Assembly representing Dane County. Earlier in his career, he also served as an executive clerk to Wisconsin governor Robert M. La Follette. He is known for introducing the first form of state unemployment insurance legislation in the United States, and is the namesake of the "Huber Law" which created Wisconsin's first work release program for state prisoners.
