Thomas Sutherland (born 17 February 1880 —date of death unknown) was an English first-class cricketer.
Sutherland made his debut in first-class cricket for Hampshire against Warwickshire at Southampton in the 1898 County Championship. He played first-class cricket for Hampshire until 1899,making nine appearances. [1] Playing as a right-arm fast-bowler,he took 11 wickets at an average of 40.54; [2] his one bowling performance of note came on debut against Warwickshire,with him taking 6 for 111 in their first innings, [3] but thereafter he struggled to take wickets. Sutherland's date and place of death is currently unknown.

Danny Richard Briggs is an English cricketer who currently plays for Warwickshire County Cricket Club,previously playing for Hampshire County Cricket Club and Sussex County Cricket Club. Briggs is a right-handed batsman who bowls slow left-arm orthodox. He was born at Newport on the Isle of Wight and was educated on the island at Carisbrooke High School. Briggs is the first international player to be born on the Isle of Wight. Briggs made his debut for Hampshire County Cricket Club aged 18 in 2009,since his debut he has seen success in first-class and Twenty20 cricket. In 2011,he became the youngest English spin bowler to take 100 first-class wickets since Derek Underwood. He made his full international debut for England on 21 February 2012 against Pakistan in the fourth One Day International at the DSC Cricket Stadium in Dubai.

Victor Henry Douglas Cannings was an English cricketer,cricket coach and colonial police officer. Born in Hampshire in April 1919,Cannings joined the Palestine Police Force in 1938 and spent the Second World War in its service. After the war he secured a contract in county cricket with Warwickshire,playing first-class cricket for the county from 1947 to 1949,at which point he had fallen out of favour at Warwickshire. He was signed by Hampshire in 1950 and played first-class cricket for the county until 1959,forming a potent bowling partnership with Derek Shackleton. He took 834 wickets for Hampshire,the eighth most taken by any Hampshire player. Following his retirement,Cannings took up numerous coaching roles,most prominently at Eton College,where he spent 24 years.

Soar initially played an important part in facilitating Hampshire's readmission as a first-class county in 1895,forming a potent bowling partnership with Harry Baldwin. With Hampshire's return to first-class status in 1895 and their admission to the County Championship,he went onto make 101 first-class appearances,in which he took over 300 wickets and scored nearly 2,000 runs. He later coached cricket at Llandovery College in Wales,where he played minor counties cricket for Carmarthenshire.

Norman Michael McVicker was an English cricketer. Having failed to establish himself with either Lancashire or Derbyshire,where he had trialled,McVicker initially played county cricket at minor counties cricket level for Lincolnshire. His performances in minor counties cricket were noticed by Warwickshire,who signed him at the age of 28 in 1969. He played five seasons with Warwickshire,winning the 1972 County Championship and taking 300 first-class wickets. He was released by Warwickshire at the end of the 1973 season and subsequently played for Leicestershire for three seasons from 1974–1976,winning both the County Championship and Benson &Hedges Cup in 1975. He retired at the end of the 1976 season,but came out of retirement in 1977 to play one-day cricket for Leicestershire,before retiring again at the end of that season.

Cyril Cecil Smart was an English cricketer who played for Glamorgan and Warwickshire County Cricket Clubs between 1920 and 1946,featuring in 236 first-class cricket matches as a right-handed batsman and occasional leg-break spin bowler. Smart,whose brother Jack was also a first-class cricketer and a Test match umpire,was considered by Wisden to be one of the "most explosive county batsmen" during the 1930s,and is well known for his then-world record hitting of thirty-two runs from a single over against Hampshire. He ended his career with the record number of sixes for any Glamorgan player at the time.
