Thomas G. Weiss United Nations official and International Studies scholar

Thomas G. Weiss is a distinguished scholar of international relations and global governance with special expertise in the politics of the United Nations. He was named a 2016 Andrew Carnegie Fellow for a project exploring the concept of a world without the United Nations. Since 1998, he has been Presidential Professor at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, and is Director Emeritus of the Ralph Bunche Institute for International Studies. In his spare time, he is a wood sculptor.

Thomas J. Weiss is an emeritus professor of Economics at the University of Kansas and a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. His research has investigated colonial economic growth and development and the growth of service sector. His work has been recognised by The Cliometric Society via their awarding him a Clio Can in recognition his of exceptional support of cliometrics. Between 1988 and 1992 he served as one of the two co-editors of the Journal of Economic History.

Darian Bernard Durant is a former professional Canadian football quarterback. He played college football at the University of North Carolina. By the end of his college career, he held school records for completion percentage, touchdowns, passing yards, total offense and completions. Durant was signed as a free agent by the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2006, and became the club's full-time starting quarterback in 2009. He was named a CFL West Division All-Star in 2009 and 2013.
