Thumbnail(サムネイル) is the eighth studio album by Japanese idol girl group AKB48. It will be released on 25 January 2017. This album features the singles "Kuchibiru ni Be My Baby", "High Tension", as well as "365 Nichi no Kamihikouki", the main theme from NHK's Asadora series, Asa ga Kita . This is the last album to feature long-time member and former AKB48 Team A Haruna Kojima.

AKB48 are a Japanese idol girl group named after the Akihabara area in Tokyo, where the group's theater is located. The group includes 134 members as of December 2018, aged from their early teens to their mid-20s. AKB48's producer, Yasushi Akimoto, wanted to form a girl group with its own theater and performing daily so fans could always see them live. This "idols you can meet" concept includes teams which can rotate performances and perform simultaneously at several events and "handshake" events, where fans can meet group members. Akimoto has expanded the AKB48 concept to several sister groups in China, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, the Philippines, and Vietnam, with an upcoming group announced for India.
"Kuchibiru ni Be My Baby", is the 42nd single by the Japanese idol girl group AKB48. It was released in Japan on December 9, 2015. As of February 22, 2016, it has sold 1,041,763 copies. It was number-one on the weekly Oricon Singles Chart and was also number-one on the Billboard Japan Hot 100.

Haruka Shimazaki is a Japanese singer, actress, and former member of the Japanese idol group AKB48. She was in Team A. She graduated from the group in 2016.
Minami Takahashi is a Japanese singer, tarento and former member of the Japanese idol girl group AKB48 under Team A. She became the first General Director of AKB48 and its sister groups. In an interview with Nippon Television in June 2010, AKB48 producer Yasushi Akimoto described her as the "eldest daughter of the 48 sisters". She is commonly part of the main lineup for the AKB48 singles. She is a member of the AKB48 sub-group no3b, along with AKB48 member Minami Minegishi and ex-member Haruna Kojima.
Yuko Oshima is a former member of Japanese idol girl group AKB48, of which she was the captain of Team K. She is also a member of the AKB48 subunit Not Yet. It was the best-selling single of 2016 in Japan, with 2.507 million copies according to Billboard Japan and 1,519,387 copies according to Oricon.
