Thunderbird Park was a baseball venue in Cedar City, Utah, United States. It was home to the Southern Utah Thunderbirds baseball team. [1] As part of the athletic program's move to the Big Sky Conference for the 2012–2013 season, Southern Utah's baseball program was discontinued. [2] The venue had a capacity of 500 spectators. [3]

Following the 2012 season, the baseball venue was demolished, and the area was converted to a soccer field. [4]

America First Event Center is a 5,300-seat multi-purpose arena in Cedar City, Utah. It was built in 1985. It is home to the Southern Utah University Thunderbirds basketball, volleyball and gymnastics teams. The America First Event Center is also the centerpiece venue for the Utah Summer Games. The arena was previously known as the Spectrum Center but was renamed in 2017 as part of a naming rights deal with America First Credit Union valued at $1.5 million over 10 years.

The Southern Utah Thunderbirds are the varsity athletic teams representing Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah in intercollegiate athletics. The university sponsors seventeen teams including six men’s sports: basketball, cross country, football, golf, and track and field and nine women's sports: basketball, cross country, golf, gymnastics, soccer, softball, track and field, and volleyball. The baseball program was dropped after the 2011–12 season. The Thunderbirds compete in NCAA Division I and joined the Big Sky Conference on July 1, 2012 after departing from The Summit League.

The program has been a member of the NCAA Division I West Coast Conference since prior to the 1985 season. Since 2013, its home venue has been Fowler Park, located on the University of San Diego campus. Rich Hill has been the program's head coach since prior to the 1999 season. As of the end of the 2012 season, the team has appeared in seven NCAA Tournaments, all since 2002. It has won four conference championship series, three regular season conference championships, and two regular season division championships. O'Donnell Field, located across the Charles River from Harvard's main campus. Bill Decker has been the program's head coach since the 2013 season.

The Southern Utah Thunderbirds football program is a college football team that represents Southern Utah University (SUU). With a history dating back to 1963, SUU currently competes in the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision as a member of the Big Sky Conference. In 2022, SUU will move from the Big Sky Conference to the Western Athletic Conference, a year after that conference will revive its football league.

Grand Canyon Antelopes

The Grand Canyon Antelopes are the 21 athletic teams representing Grand Canyon University, located in Phoenix, Arizona. Most of the university's athletic teams compete at the NCAA Division I level in the Western Athletic Conference. The Shrum Bowl is a university rivalry game played between the gridiron football teams of the University of British Columbia (UBC) Thunderbirds and the Simon Fraser University (SFU) Clan. The game is named after Gordon Shrum who was a professor and later a dean at UBC from 1925 to 1961 and served as the first chancellor of SFU from 1964 to 1968. It is a cross-town rivalry with UBC being located in Vancouver, British Columbia, and SFU located approximately 30 kilometres away in Burnaby, British Columbia.

The UC Riverside baseball team is the varsity intercollegiate baseball team of the University of California, Riverside, located in Riverside, California, United States. The program has been a member of the NCAA Division I Big West Conference since the start of the 2002 season. The program's home venue is the Riverside Sports Complex, located on the university's campus. Justin Johnson serves as the team's interim head coach starting with the 2021 season. The program has won two Division II national championships. It has appeared in four Division II College World Series and 12 NCAA Tournaments. It has won eight California Collegiate Athletic Association championships and one Big West Conference championship. As of the start of the 2013 Major League Baseball season, 16 former Highlanders have appeared in Major League Baseball.

Alabama A&M Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs Sports teams of Alabama A&M University

The Alabama A&M Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs are the athletic teams that represent Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University. The program features 15 varsity sports teams. They participate in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I as a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference. Russell Athletic is the current sponsor of the Alabama A&M University Athletic Department.

Deborah Corum is the current director of athletics for Southern Utah University. She previously served as assistant athletic director for Stanford University from 1994 to 1996, as an associate athletic director at Louisiana State University from 1996 to 2000, as an associate athletic director at the University of Connecticut from 2012 to 2016, and as associate commissioner of the Southeastern Conference from 2000 to 2012. Corum graduated from Vanderbilt University with a bachelor's degree. Corum was named interim athletic director at Southern Utah University on June 20, 2017, then was promoted to the job on a permanent basis on November 30, 2017.
