Ivory Coast or Côte d'Ivoire, officially the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, is a country located on the south coast of West Africa. Ivory Coast's political capital is Yamoussoukro, while its economic capital and largest city is the port city of Abidjan. It borders Guinea and Liberia to the west, Burkina Faso and Mali to the north, Ghana to the east, and the Gulf of Guinea to the south.
Tortiya is a town in northern Ivory Coast. It is a sub-prefecture and commune of Niakaramandougou Department in Hambol Region, Vallée du Bandama District. The town sits just east of the border of Savanes District.
Niakaramandougou Department is a department of Hambol Region in Vallée du Bandama District, Ivory Coast. In 2014, its population was 133,818 and its seat is the settlement of Niakaramandougou. The sub-prefectures of the department are Arikokaha, Badikaha, Niakaramandougou, Niédiékaha, Tafiré, and Tortiya.
Tiénindiéri was a commune until March 2012, when it became one of 1126 communes nationwide that were abolished.[1]
