Tianjin University of Science & Technology (Chinese :天津科技大学; pinyin :Tiānjīn Kējì Dàxué) is a university in Tianjin, China under the municipal government. The original campus is in Hexi district; previously it was well known with the name Tianjin Institute of Light Industry (Chinese :天津轻工业学院; pinyin :Tiānjīn Qīnggōngyè Xuéyuàn). It is the first university to open a full-time campus in the Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA) and has the intention of moving the whole university to that campus. The university was formerly known as Tianjin Institute of Light Industry.

Along with traditional Chinese characters, they are one of the two standard character sets of the contemporary Chinese written language.
