Tianping rolling stock depot (simplified Chinese :天平车辆段; traditional Chinese :天平車輛段) is the rolling stock depot of Line 1, Suzhou Rail Transit. It is located in Tianping Village, Mudu Town, Wuzhong District, Suzhou. The depot opens to public occasionally.
The Shanghai Metro is a rapid transit system in Shanghai, operating urban and suburban transit services to 14 of its 16 municipal districts and to Huaqiao Town, Kunshan, Jiangsu Province. Opening in 1993 with full-scale construction extending back to 1986, the Shanghai Metro is the third-oldest rapid transit system in mainland China, after the Beijing Subway and the Tianjin Metro. It has seen substantial growth, significantly during the years leading up to the Expo 2010, and is still expanding quickly, with its most recent expansions having opened in December 2018. It is the biggest component of the Shanghai metropolitan rail transit network, together with the Shanghai maglev train, the Zhangjiang Tram, the Songjiang Tram and the China Railway-operated commuter rail services to Jinshan. The metro system is also integrated with other forms of public transport in Shanghai.
Line 5 of the Beijing Subway is Beijing's only subway line with an entirely north-south route. It entered into operation on October 7, 2007. It runs for 27.6 km (17.1 mi) in a near straight line through the city center from Tiantongyuan North in Changping District to Songjiazhuang in Fengtai District. Though Line 4 and Line 8 also broadly follow north-south routes, Line 5 remains the only line to follow an almost entirely straight north-south course. Line 5 is also notable for including three stations in the densely populated northern suburb of Tiantongyuan, as well as providing convenient access to the Temple of Earth and Temple of Heaven. Since Line 5 connects with Line 1, Line 2 (twice), Line 6, Line 7, Line 10 (twice), Line 13, Line 14 and Line 15, and also links densely populated suburbs directly to the city center, it tends to experience very crowded conditions during rush hour and even very late into the evening. Line 10 of the Beijing Subway is the second loop line in Beijing's rapid transit network as well as the longest and most widely used line. The line is 57.1 km (35.5 mi) in length and runs entirely underground through Haidian, Chaoyang and Fengtai Districts, either directly underneath or just beyond the 3rd Ring Road. The Line 10 loop is situated between two and six kilometers outside the Line 2 loop, which circumnavigates Beijing's old Inner City. China plans to spend 4.7 trillion yuan on transport infrastructure in the three years following 2016. As of early 2017, China has 5,636.5 km (3,502.4 mi) of under-construction rail transit lines. By the end of 2018, Mainland China has opened 35 metro systems with 185 metro lines.
Suzhou Rail Transit, also known as Suzhou Metro, is a rapid transit system serving the city of Suzhou, in Jiangsu Province, China. Line 1 began operation on April 28, 2012. Line 2 opened on December 28, 2013. Another five lines are also planned to be completed before 2020. Upon completion, the system will be about 140 kilometers long and have 109 stations. Line S1 of Suzhou Metro connecting neighboring Kunshan city and beyond to the Shanghai Metro is currently under construction.
Line 15 of the Shanghai Metro is a metro line currently under construction in the city of Shanghai and scheduled to open in 2020. The line begins at Gucun Park in Baoshan District, and terminates at Zizhu Hi-tech Zone in Minhang District, via West Shanghai Railway Station and Shanghai South Railway Station. It will be 42.3 kilometres (26.3 mi) in length and have 30 stations. Line 15 will interchange with lines 1, 2, 3, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13 and 14.
Suzhoujie station is a subway station on Line 10 of the Beijing Subway. It will be a transfer station once Line 16 is built.
All Beijing Subway trains run on 1,435mm standard gauge rail and draw power from the 750 V DC third rail, except those on Lines 6 and 14, which use 1,500 V DC overhead wires. Lines 6, 15, Fangshan, and Changping have a designed maximum service speed of 100 km/h (62 mph). The Airport Line is linear motor driven with a designed maximum service speed of 110 km/h (68 mph) All other Lines have a maximum service speed of 80 km/h (50 mph). Currently Lines 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 13, 15, Batong, Daxing, Changping, Fangshan, and Yizhuang use 6 car B size trains. Initially, Lines Batong and 13 was originally used 4 car trains and now expanded into six.

Line 3 is an east-west line of Suzhou Rail Transit. The line is 45.272 kilometers long. The line links the Wuzhong District, Suzhou Industrial Park, and the Suzhou New District.
Line 4 is a line of Suzhou Rail Transit. It runs in a north-south alignment from Longdaobang station in Xiangcheng District in the northern suburbs, to the canal town of Tongli in Wujiang District in the south and Muli in the southwest. The line is 52.8 km long with 38 stations, which consists of a 41.1 kilometer long main line with 30 stations and a branch line.
Line 5 is a planned west-east line of Suzhou Rail Transit. Construction is expected to finish in 2021, and the line will be 44.1 kilometers long. Its western terminus will be at Taihu Xiangshan station in Wuzhong District, with its eastern terminus at Yangchenghu South station in Suzhou Industrial Park. 50 six car type B fully automated subway trains where ordered for the line.
Line 7 of Suzhou Rail Transit is an under construction rapid transit line in Suzhou. Construction started on December 25, 2019. The line will be 40.4 kilometers long.
Tianping Mountain, also called Baiyun Mountain or Ci Mountain, is a mountain located in southwestern Suzhou, Jiangsu, China. Its elevation is about 201 meters. The mountain gained fame due to Fan Zhongyan, whose ancestors were buried there. And now, Fan Zhongyan Memorial has been established near the mountain. Tianping Mountain is also famous for its stone, spring and maple.
Taiping rolling stock depot is the rolling stock depot of Line 2, Suzhou Rail Transit with a total area of over 200 thousand square meters. It is located in Xiangcheng District, Suzhou.
Several cities in China had tram systems during the 20th century; however, by the end of the century, only Dalian, Hong Kong and Changchun remained extant. However the 21st century has seen a resurgence in tram transport systems as China attempts to combat with urban traffic congestion and pollution.
Suzhou SND Tram is a tram system in Suzhou New District, Suzhou, Jiangsu, China. The tram uses an overhead catenery system. Suzhou Tram started construction on September 11, 2012 and was opened on October 26, 2014. There is currently one line in operation in the Suzhou New District. The Suzhou High-Tech Rail Tram Limited was established in April 2011, and the tram line was approved by the Suzhou City government June the same year.
Pingzhuang Highway is a future reserved station on an unopened section of Line 5 of the Shanghai Metro. Located at Pingzhuang Road and Jinhai Highway in the city's Fengxian District, the station is located on the main branch of Line 5 and resides on the southern extension of the line, which opened on 30 December 2018. However, the station did not open at the same time with the rest of the extension. The construction of the tracks through this station has been completed, but the station will not be built until a future date, pending completion of a transportation hub in the vicinity. When opened, it will become the southern terminus of the main branch of Line 5.
Line S1 of Suzhou Rail Transit is an under construction intercity rapid transit line. Running west-east, the line will mainly serve Kunshan city center and connect it to Suzhou Industrial Park in the west and nearby metropolitan Shanghai in the east via a transfer to Line 11 of the Shanghai Metro. The line will be the first metro line in downtown Kunshan. The terminus Huaqiao station will be an interchange metro station between Suzhou Rail Transit system and Shanghai metro system. The line started construction on November 27, 2018 and is scheduled to be completed by 2023. The line will use 6-car Type B rolling stock operating up to 100km/h.
Wanquanheqiao station is a station under construction on Line 16 of the Beijing Subway.
