Mian Khurshid Anwar (Late) was a Punjabi politician, journalist and former deputy opposition leader of Punjab Assembly and commonly known as Founder of District Vehari. He was born in India, where his father was a sobaydar in Kapoor Thala, Jalandhar district India. He got his early education in Kapoor Thalla and migrated to Pakistan along with his family due to Indo-Pak partition.
