Telemark is a county and a current electoral district in Norway. Telemark borders the counties of Vestfold, Buskerud, Vestland, Rogaland and Agder. In 2020, Telemark merged with the county of Vestfold to form the county of Vestfold og Telemark. On 1 January 2024, the county of Telemark was re-established after Vestfold og Telemark was divided again.
Bø is a former municipality in Telemark county, Norway. It was part of the traditional region of Midt-Telemark, but was historically regarded as part of Grenland. The 263-square-kilometre (102 sq mi) municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 2020. The area is now part of Midt-Telemark Municipality. The administrative centre was the village of Bø i Telemark. Other villages in the municipality included Folkestad and Nordbøåsane.

Grenland is a traditional district in Telemark county, in the south-east of Norway. "Grenland" has referred to varying locations throughout history. In modern times, Grenland refers to the areas of the municipalities of Skien, Porsgrunn, Bamble, and Siljan. Sometimes the municipalities Kragerø and Drangedal are also considered to be part of the area. The region encompasses 1,794 square kilometres (693 sq mi) and has 122,978 inhabitants (2004), which translates as 12% of the area and 64% of the population of Telemark.

Telemark is one of the 19 multi-member constituencies of the Storting, the national legislature of Norway. The constituency was established in 1921 following the introduction of proportional representation for elections to the Storting. It consists of the municipalities of Bamble, Drangedal, Fyresdal, Hjartdal, Kragerø, Kviteseid, Midt-Telemark, Nissedal, Nome, Notodden, Porsgrunn, Seljord, Siljan, Skien, Tinn, Tokke and Vinje in the county of Telemark. The constituency currently elects five of the 169 members of the Storting using the open party-list proportional representation electoral system. At the 2021 parliamentary election it had 130,953 registered electors.

Solum Church is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Skien Municipality in Telemark county, Norway. It is located in the village of Solum, just west of the town of Skien. It is one of the churches for the Kilebygda og Solum parish which is part of the Skien prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Agder og Telemark. The white, wooden church was built in a long church design in 1766 by the builder Joen Jacobsen. The church seats about 205 people.
