Tinatin "Tika" Patsatsia (Georgian :თიკა ფაცაცია; born 18 October 1981 in Tbilisi, Georgia) is a Georgian model, singer, and TV host. She was Miss Tbilisi, Miss Georgia and got third place in Miss Golden Globe.

Biography

In 1987, at the age of six, she went to the Ballet School in Tbilisi. [1] In 1991, Tika started to learn how to play the piano and guitar. In 2000, she created musical group called SETI. In 2003 Tika published her first album. In 2006, she published single Tkvi ras apireb. In 2008, Tika won musical show Wave of Hope. After that, she participated in the national selection for Eurovision 2008, but she did not win it. In 2009, Tika tried again to participate in the National Selection for the Eurovision 2009 with song Miracle, but she did not win again. In 2010, she is hosting Nichieri (ნიჭიერი, Georgian version of Got Talent).

Cyprus in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest

Cyprus has entered the Junior Eurovision Song Contest ten times since debuting at the first contest in 2003 with Theodora Rafti and the song "Mia efhi". They were forced to withdraw in 2005, as Rena Kiriakidi's "Tsirko" was said to be too similar to another song. However, the Cypriot viewers were able to watch the show and vote.

Georgia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest

The participation of Georgia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest first began at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2007 which took place in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB), a member organisation of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), have been responsible for the selection process of their participants since their debut. The first representative to participate for the nation at the 2007 contest was Mariam Romelashvili with the song "Odelia Ranuni" (ოდელია რანუნი), which finished in fourth place out of seventeen participating entries, achieving a score of one hundred and sixteen points. Since their debut, Georgia have never missed an edition of the contest and is the only country to have won three times, in 2008, 2011 and 2016. They hosted the contest for the first time in 2017 at the Olympic Palace in Tbilisi.

Georgia was represented by Diana Gurtskaya in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song "Peace Will Come".

Georgia won the contest with 154 points.

Belarus participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 which took place in Tbilisi, Georgia on 26 November 2017. The Belarusian entry for the 2017 contest in Tbilisi, Georgia was selected through a national final organised by the Belarusian broadcaster National State Television and Radio Company of the Republic of Belarus (BTRC). A national final, which took place on 25 August 2017, saw ten competing acts participating in a televised production where the winner was determined by a 50/50 combination of votes from a jury made up of music professionals and a public telephone vote. Helena Meraai won the national final by receiving the most votes from both the professional jury and televoters and she represented Belarus in Georgia with the song "I Am The One".

Georgia took part in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 as the host country after their victory in 2016 with the song "Mzeo" by Mariam Mamadashvili. Their entry was decided through an internal selection. They were represented by Grigol Kipshidze and the song "Voice of The Heart".

Ukraine participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 which will be held in Tbilisi, Georgia on 26 November 2017. Their entrant was selected through a national selection, organized by the Ukrainian broadcaster NTU. The semi-final took place on 8 August 2017, where the 27 eligible submissions performed in front of a jury, and then they chose ten artists to qualify to the final, which took place on 25 August 2017. As a result, Anastasiya Baginska won the Ukrainian selection and got the right to represent Ukraine in Tbilisi, Georgia with the song "Don't Stop ".

Poland participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 which took place on 26 November 2017 in Tbilisi, Georgia. The Polish broadcaster Telewizja Polska (TVP) was responsible for organising their entry for the contest. A national final, which took place on 1 October 2017, saw ten competing acts participating in a televised production where the winner was determined by a 50/50 combination of votes from a jury made up of music professionals and a public telephone vote. Alicja Rega was chosen as the winner of the selection and she got the right to represent Poland with the song "Mój dom".
