Tikale Peak (Bulgarian : връх Тикале, romanized: vrah Tikale, IPA:  [ˈvrɤx tiˈkalɛ] ) is the rocky, partly ice-free peak rising to 550 m in southeastern Poibrene Heights on Blagoevgrad Peninsula, Oscar II Coast in Graham Land, Antarctica.

The feature is named after the settlement of Tikale in southern Bulgaria.

Location

Tikale Peak is located at 65°11′44″S61°47′03″W / 65.19556°S 61.78417°W / -65.19556; -61.78417 Coordinates: 65°11′44″S61°47′03″W / 65.19556°S 61.78417°W / -65.19556; -61.78417 , which is 5.5 km north of Kunino Point, 5.55 km southeast of Ravnogor Peak and 9.85 km northwest of Foyn Point.

Poibrene Heights Elevated area in Graham Land, Antarctica

Poibrene Heights are the heights rising to 948 m on Oscar II Coast, Graham Land in Antarctica. They are extending 18 km in northwest-southeast direction and 10 km wide, and surmounting Evans Glacier to the north, Vaughan Inlet to the northeast, the coastal Whiteside Hill to the east, Foyn Point to the southeast, Kunino Point and Exasperation Inlet to the south, and Punchbowl Glacier to the southwest. The heights are separated from Forbidden Plateau by Vishna Pass.

Blagoevgrad Peninsula

Blagoevgrad Peninsula is the mostly ice-covered peninsula projecting 15 km in southeast direction from Oscar II Coast in Graham Land, Antarctica, and 17 km wide. It is bounded by Vaughan Inlet to the north and Exasperation Inlet to the south, ending in Foyn Point to the southeast. The east coast of the peninsula is indented by Yamforina Cove, and its interior is partly occupied by the southeast portion of Poibrene Heights. It was formed as a result of the break-up of Larsen Ice Shelf in the area in 2002, and subsequent retreat of the adjacent Evans Glacier and Punchbowl Glacier.

Daskot Point

Daskot Point is the ice-covered point on the north side of the entrance to Yamforina Cove on Blagoevgrad Peninsula, Oscar II Coast in Graham Land, Antarctica. It was formed as a result of the break-up of Larsen Ice Shelf in the area in 2002.

Kesten Point is the partly ice-free point on the south side of the entrance to Yamforina Cove on Blagoevgrad Peninsula, Oscar II Coast in Graham Land, Antarctica. It was formed as a result of the break-up of Larsen Ice Shelf in the area in 2002.

Modev Peak

Modev Peak is the mostly ice-covered peak rising to 665 m on Two Hummock Island in the Palmer Archipelago, Antarctica. The feature has precipitous and partly ice-free northwest slopes, and overlooks Urania Cove on the west and Kotev Cove on the north. It is one of the two ‘hummocks’ that gave the name of the island.

Nedev Peak is the rocky peak rising to 459 m at the southeast extremity of Rugate Ridge on Oscar II Coast in Graham Land, Antarctica. It surmounts Evans Glacier on the southwest, Musina Glacier on the northwest and Vaughan Inlet on the east.

Urania Cove Antarctic cove

Urania Cove is the 1.6 km wide cove indenting for 1.35 km the west coast of Two Hummock Island in the Palmer Archipelago, Antarctica north of Buache Peak and west of Modev Peak.
