Tikhoretsky District (Russian : Тихоре́цкий райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the thirty-eight in Krasnodar Krai, Russia. [1] As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Tikhoretsky Municipal District. [5] It is located in the northeastern central part of the krai. The area of the district is 1,825.4 square kilometers (704.8 sq mi). [2] Its administrative center is the town of Tikhoretsk (which is not administratively a part of the district).
