Timothy Joseph Jordan (February 14,1879 –September 13,1949) was a professional baseball player. He was a first baseman over parts of seven seasons with the Washington Senators,New York Highlanders and Brooklyn Superbas. He led the National League and tied for the major league lead in home runs in 1906,becoming the first rookie with a share of the major league home run crown (later joined by Mark McGwire in 1987 and Pete Alonso in 2019) [1] with Brooklyn,and won the NL home run title again in 1908.
Jordan also created and marketed a baseball-themed card game,the "T.J. Jordan In Door Card Game". [2] He was born and later died at the age of 70 in New York City.
Donald Newcombe,nicknamed "Newk",was an American professional baseball pitcher in Negro league and Major League Baseball who played for the Newark Eagles (1944–45),Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers,Cincinnati Reds (1958–1960),and Cleveland Indians (1960).
Santos "Sandy" Alomar Velázquez Jr. is a Puerto Rican former professional baseball player,coach,and manager. He played in Major League Baseball as a catcher between 1988 and 2007,most notably as a member of the Cleveland Indians where he was a six-time All-Star player and won two American League pennants. Alomar was inducted into the Cleveland Indians Hall of Fame in 2009.
Marlon Ordell Anderson is a former Major League Baseball utility player who played for several teams between 1998 and 2009. He was widely known for his clutch hits,and writers for publications including The New York Times and Newsday had referred to him as one of the best pinch-hitters in the game. Anderson was the hitting coach for the Brooklyn Cyclones in 2018.

Ronald Alan Swoboda is an American former professional baseball player and television sports color commentator. He played in Major League Baseball as an outfielder from 1965 through 1973,most notably as a member of the New York Mets team that became known as the Miracle Mets when they rose from being perennial losers to defeat the favored Baltimore Orioles in the 1969 World Series for one of the most improbable upsets in World Series history. Swoboda performed one of the most impressive defensive plays of the series in the ninth inning of Game 4 to help preserve a Mets victory. He also played for the Montreal Expos and the New York Yankees.
