Times Three were a Maltese girl group, consisting of lead singer Philippa Farrugia Randon, Diane Stafrace and Francesca Tabone, known for their participation in the 1999 Eurovision Song Contest.

Times Three were formed specifically in order to enter the 1999 Maltese Eurovision selection with the song "Believe 'n Peace", written by Christopher Scicluna and Moira Stafrace. They won the local contest and represented their country in Jerusalem. The song finished in 15th place of 23 entries. [1] [2]

Eurovision Song Contest 1994

The Eurovision Song Contest 1994 was the 39th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Dublin, Ireland, following the country's victory at the 1993 contest with the song "In Your Eyes" by Niamh Kavanagh. It was the first time that any country had hosted the contest two years in a row. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ), the contest was held at the Point Theatre, with the final on 30 April 1994. The contest was held at Studio 15 di Cinecittà on Saturday 4 May 1991 and was hosted by former Italian winners Gigliola Cinquetti and Toto Cutugno.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2000 was the 45th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Stockholm, Sweden, following the country's victory at the 1999 contest with the song "Take Me to Your Heaven" by Charlotte Nilsson. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster Sveriges Television (SVT), the contest was held at the Globe Arena, with the final on 13 May 2000. The live show was presented by Swedish television presenters Kattis Ahlström and Anders Lundin.

Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest

Malta has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 33 times since its debut in 1971. The contest is broadcast in Malta on the PBS channel, TVM. Malta has yet to win the contest, but is the only non-winning country to have achieved four top three results.

Ira Losco Musical artist

Ira Losco M.Q.R. is a Maltese singer and songwriter. Her career breakthrough came in 2002, when she represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2002 with the song "7th Wonder". She placed second in the competition, Malta's best ever result. Fourteen years later, she returned and represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song "Walk on Water", placing twelfth. Losco has released six studio albums so far in her career, and is one of the most successful Maltese musicians of all-time. In 2018, she served as a judge on the inaugural season of X Factor Malta. She returned to serve as judge in 2019.

Chiara Siracusa better known by her mononym Chiara, is a Maltese singer. She represented her country in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1998, 2005, and 2009 and is with a second and a third place the third most successful participant who never won the contest.

Monaco in the Eurovision Song Contest

Monaco has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 24 times since its debut in 1959. The country's only win in the contest came in 1971 when Séverine performed "Un banc, un arbre, une rue". As a result, Monaco was expected to host the contest in 1972, but declined. As of 2021, Monaco is the only microstate which has won the contest.

Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest

Sweden has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 60 times since making its debut in 1958, missing only three contests since then. Since 1959, the Swedish entry has been chosen through an annual televised competition, known since 1967 as Melodifestivalen. At the 1997 contest, Sweden was one of the first five countries to adopt televoting. Sweden is the only country to have hosted the event in five different decades, three times in Stockholm, twice in Malmö and once in Gothenburg (1985).

Jonas Gladnikoff Swedish songwriter and music producer (born 1985)

Jonas Gladnikoff is a Swedish songwriter and music producer. Born in Täby, he began songwriting at an early age. Later in life he moved to Åland in Finland before eventually moving to Stockholm. He has written several songs for singers from across Europe, but is best known for writing entries for the Eurovision Song Contest and for various national pre-selections. He studied songwriting at the Music Production Academy Musikmakarna, graduating in 2006. In 2009 he co-wrote the song that represented Ireland. The song "Et Cetera" was performed by Sinéad Mulvey & Black Daisy in Moscow, Russia. In the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest he once again co-wrote the Irish entry. The song, "It's for You", was performed by the 1993 Eurovision winning singer Niamh Kavanagh. He also later wrote the 2014 Irish entry "Heartbeat" sung by Can-linn.

Breathlessly

"Breathlessly" is a song performed by Maltese singer Claudia Faniello. The song represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. It was written by Phillip Vella, Sean Vella, and Gerard James Borg. The song was released as a digital download on 15 March 2017 through CAP-Sounds.

Malta participated at the Eurovision Song Contest 1994 in Dublin, Ireland. Their entry was "More than Love " performed by Chris and Moira.

Malta is scheduled to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy. The Maltese entry for the 2022 contest will be selected through the national final Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2022, organised by the Maltese broadcaster Public Broadcasting Services (PBS). The competition will consist of a semi-final round and a final, to be held in February 2022.
