Dalma is a Romanian pop/jazz singer and occasional television actress of Hungarian descent. Dalma became well known in Romania after she became the winner of TVR 1's show "Faimoșii" in 2007, but mostly after she qualified in the Romanian national final of Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with the song Love Was Never Her Friend, composed by Romanian composer Marius Moga, and placed sixth in the big final. Even if the song did not get the first place, it received considerable airplay in Romania. Because she is popular in her country, Dalma received an offer from Walt Disney Pictures and provides the singing voice of Elsa in the Romanian dubbed version of Frozen, the singer of the main theme from the movie “Tinkerbell and Legend of the Neverland Beast”.
"Hot" is the debut single by Romanian singer Inna, released on 12 August 2008. It is from her debut studio album of the same name (2009). The song was written and produced by Play & Win members Sebastian Barac, Radu Bolfea and Marcel Botezan. Musically, "Hot" is a trance-inspired electro house song, with its instrumentation consisting of synthesizer sounds and trance beats. Throughout the track, the hook is repeated multiple times, and male vocals are used to complement Inna.
"Playing with Fire" is a song recorded by Romanian singer Paula Seling and Romanian-Norwegian performer Ovidiu Cernăuțeanu for their 2010 collaborative album of the same name. It was released as a CD single in 2010 by TVR, TMC and AXR labels. Partly influenced by opera music, the track was written by Ovi and produced by Simen M. Eriksrud. The lyrics of "Playing with Fire" portray a fight between a male and a female, with a reviewer speculating that it revolved around arson, a crime of intentionally, deliberately and maliciously setting fire to buildings or other properties with the intent to cause damage.
Culeg Vise is the eleventh studio album by Romanian female recording artist and songwriter Paula Seling, the winner of Golden Stag in 2002. It was officially released on February 12, 2009. "Lollipop " is the debut single recorded by Romanian recording artist Alexandra Stan for her debut studio album, Saxobeats (2011). The track was written by Marcel Prodan and Andrei Nemirschi, while production was solely handled by Prodan. It was first released in Romania in 2009. Following the international success of Stan's 2010 single "Mr. Saxobeat", "Lollipop " was re-distributed in various other countries in 2011. The music video for "Lollipop " features the singer and other female dancers dancing to the song in front of a purple backdrop; interspersed scenes portray Stan licking a lollipop. The second season of the Romanian reality talent show Vocea României premiered on ProTV on September 25, 2012. It was hosted by Pavel Bartoș and Nicoleta Luciu, while Vlad Roșca was the social media correspondent. All four coaches returned for their second season.
Romania participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the song "It's My Life" written by Cristian Faur. The song was performed by Cezar. The Romanian broadcaster Televiziunea Română (TVR) organised the national final Selecția Națională 2013 in order to select the Romanian entry for the 2013 contest in Malmö, Sweden. The national final consisted of three shows: two semi-finals on 23 and 24 February 2013, respectively, and a final on 9 March 2013. A total of thirty-two entries were selected and sixteen competed in each semi-final where six entries were selected to advance to the final. The twelve qualifiers competed in the final where "It's My Life" performed by Cezar was selected as the winner after scoring top marks from a seven-member jury panel and a public televote.
Andreea Bănică (Romanian pronunciation: [anˈdree̯a bəˈnikə] is a Romanian singer. She was part of the group Exotic, alongside Claudia Pătrăşcanu and Julia Chelaru. She subsequently formed the band Blondy with Cristina Rus. Afterwards, she started a solo career, winning awards at ceremonies including the Romanian Music Awards, Romanian Top Hits, MTV European Music Awards and the Balkan Music Awards. Her songs "Love In Brazil" and "Sexy" reached number one in Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia.

Anda Adam is a Romanian singer and model. She is best known for her singles "My Love on You" and "Panda Madam". Anda began her music career in 1999, after collaborating with Romanian band R.A.C.L.A. on the songs "Nu mă uita" and "Fiesta" for their EP Nu mă uita. This inspired Anda to begin her own music career, releasing her debut EP Ca Între Fete later that year. In 2003, she released her secpmd EP Doar cu tine. Her debut album, Confidențial, was released on 14 April 2005, and featured the successful singles "Ce ți-aș face (Selecta)", "Ajutor", and "Nai, Nai". The album has sold over 20,000 copies in Romania as of 2007, being certified platinum. Her second album, Queen of Hearts, was released in February 2008, featuring the singles "Punani", and "Sufletul Meu", which became one of the most played songs on the radio back then. Her single "My Love On You" was released on 26 November 2009, which became the singer's biggest hit, reaching number one on Turkey and seven in Romania. Her third studio album, AMO was released in September 2013. "Cliché " is a song recorded by Romanian recording artist Alexandra Stan for her Japan-only reissue of the same name (2013). Written and produced by Marcel Prodan and Andrei Nemirschi, it was released for digital download on 3 October 2012 through MediaPro. Described as a dance-pop track that features eurodance elements into its sound, "Cliché " discusses different themes of love. It was released as the fifth single from the record on 14 February 2012, following the previous singles — "My Love On You" (2009), "Cadillac" (2010), "Show Me" (2010), and "Trust" (2011). The track was written and produced by Marius Moga, who has previously produced many of Anda's works. The song experienced moderate chart success in Sweden, Romania, and Turkey, peaking number 29, 26, and 3 respectively. A remix EP was also released in 2012, which featured remixes of the songs "Panda Madam", "Feel" (2012), and "Show Me".
