Timur Karalbiyevich Shipshev (Russian : Тимур Каральбиевич Шипшев; born 31 August 1970) is a Russian professional football manager and a former player. He is an assistant coach with Pari NN.

Manager career

He was appointed caretaker manager of PFC Spartak Nalchik on 15 April 2012 when Sergei Tashuyev resigned as a manager. Spartak Nalchik was relegated from the Russian Premier League under Shipshev's management two weeks later. [1]

The 2011–12 Rostov season was the 3rd straight season that the club played in the Russian Premier League, the highest tier of football in Russia. They finished the season in 13th place, meaning they had to win a Relegation Playoff against Shinnik Yaroslavl, which they won 4–0 on aggregate. Spartak finished the season in 2nd place, reaching the quarterfinals of the 2008–09 Russian Cup, where they were knocked out by Dynamo Moscow, and the Last 16 of the 2009–10 Russian Cup where FC Moscow knocked them out.
