Yuen Long is an MTR station located in the northeastern part of Yuen Long Town, Yuen Long District, between Kam Sheung Road and Long Ping stations on the West Rail Line. It is an interchange between the West Rail Line and the Light Rail Yuen Long Stop. The station is quite popular for the abundance of residential buildings nearby. Developers continue to develop housing near the station, with hopes to further increase the usage of the station.
Tin Shui Wai is an MTR station located in Ping Shan near Tin Shui Wai New Town, Yuen Long District. It is the only heavy rail station serving Tin Shui Wai, which has a population of around 300,000.

Tin Shui Wai New Town is in the northwestern New Territories of Hong Kong.
