Tin Vodopivec is a stand up comedian from Slovenia, notable as the co-founder of Ljubljana’s first stand-up comedy festival Punch. He made his international debut in February 2010 at the Leicester Comedy Festival. His observational humour is based on everyday life. [1] In 2023
Tin graduated from law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Ljubljana. [1]
He has been one of the pioneers of the new style of comedy which was at the time unknown in Slovenia. He had in two years more than 100 live performances, as well as an appearance on a Sunday afternoon family show on Slovene national RTV Slovenia television. In August 2008, he organized the first Punch festival, which was sold out all three nights.
In May 2008 he won the first Slovene comedy competition called Last comic standing and was announced as one of Slovene’s top comedians by Stop magazine. He was invited to all the Slovenian festivals, including Lent festival, Trnfest, ŠpasFest, Bujta Repa, Filofest, and the Slovene film festival. In September 2007, he was the first comedian to perform on a TV night show hosted by a controversial transvestite Marlenna, where he was re-invited later in December 2007. He performed as an opening act for the sold out concert of Latin singer Julio Iglesias. He worked as a producer, director, actor and co-writer of the talk show Gofla, which was a part of marketing campaign for the Slovene's largest mobile operator. He was also the face for the Telekom marketing campaign for the number 1188.

Ljudski vrt is a football stadium in Maribor, Slovenia, which has a seating capacity of 11,671. The Liberation Front of the Slovene Nation, or simply Liberation Front, originally called the Anti-Imperialist Front, was a Slovene anti-fascist political party. The Anti-Imperialist Front had ideological ties to the Soviet Union in its fight against the imperialistic tendencies of the United States and the United Kingdom, and it was led by the Communist Party of Slovenia. In May 1941, weeks into the German occupation of Yugoslavia, in the first wartime issue of the illegal newspaper Slovenski poročevalec, members of the organization criticized the German regime and described Germans as imperialists. They started raising money for a liberation fund via the second issue of the newspaper published on 8 June 1941. When Germany attacked the Soviet Union, the Anti-Imperialist Front was formally renamed and became the main anti-fascist Slovene civil resistance and political organization under the guidance and control of the Slovene communists. It was active in the Slovene Lands during World War II. Its military arm was the Slovene Partisans. The organisation was established in the Province of Ljubljana on 26 April 1941 in the house of the literary critic Josip Vidmar. Its leaders were Boris Kidrič and Edvard Kardelj.

Zoran Janković is a Serbian-Slovenian businessman and politician. He came to prominence in 1997 as the president of the Slovenian retail company Mercator. From October 2006 to December 2011, he was mayor of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. In October 2011, he established the Positive Slovenia party, which won the plurality of votes at the early Slovenian 2011 parliamentary election. His function as a mayor ceased on 21 December 2011, when he became a deputy in the National Assembly. After he failed to be elected as the prime minister in the National Assembly, he was re-elected as the mayor of Ljubljana and retook the position on 11 April 2012. He is the first mayor of Ljubljana to have served two terms since the end of World War II.
