A horse show is a judged exhibition of horses and ponies. Many different horse breeds and equestrian disciplines hold competitions worldwide, from local to the international levels. Most horse shows run from one to three days, sometimes longer for major, all-breed events or national and international championships in a given discipline or breed. Most shows consist of a series of different performances, called classes, wherein a group of horses with similar training or characteristics compete against one another for awards and, often, prize money.
Philippa Rachel "Pippa" Funnell MBE is an equestrian sportswoman who competes in eventing. In 2003, she became the first person to win the Rolex Grand Slam of Eventing. She also won Badminton in 2002 and 2005. At the European Championships, she has won two Individual golds (1999–2001) and three team golds (1999–2003). She is a three-time Olympic medallist, winning team silver in 2000 and 2004, and an individual bronze in 2004. She also competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Princess Nathalie of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg is the youngest daughter and child of Prince Richard of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and Princess Benedikte of Denmark and niece of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and Queen Anne-Marie of Greece.
Gillian Rolton, was an Australian Olympic equestrian champion. She competed in two Olympic Games, the 1992 Barcelona Games and 1996 Atlanta Games, winning a gold medal in team eventing both times on her horse, Peppermint Grove. At the 1996 Atlanta Games, she broke her collarbone and ribs, but remounted and completed the course. She was only one of four Australians to win multiple equestrian Olympic gold medals.
Elizabeth Madden is an American Olympic champion equestrian competing in show jumping. She has two Olympic golds and one silver in team jumping, and an individual bronze. She won the FEI Show Jumping World Cup twice; won two silvers and two bronzes at World Championships; and won two golds, one silver and two bronzes at the Pan American Games. She was the first American to break into the international top three show jumping ranking, and the first woman to win over one million dollars in show jumping prize money.
Edwina Tops-Alexander is an Australian Olympic-level equestrian rider. Her coach and husband is former Dutch champion Jan Tops. Originating from the Suburbs of Sydney, Edwina started riding when she was 8 years old. By 1995 she had won the Australian Young Riders Championship. Edwina Debuted for Equestrian Australia in Hong Kong, in 1998. The same year, she moved to Europe She met Jan Tops in 2000. She uses the Netherlands as her base for most of the year at Stal Tops Valkenswaard. Edwina was formerly a member of the Shanghai Swans, a team participating in the Global Champions League, for the length of 2016. Edwina is regarded as the most successful Australian showjumper of the 2000s. She has broken many records, including being the first Australian to place inside the top 10 in the World Equestrian Games, and Edwina holds the record for the most money earned by a rider on the Global Champions Tour. Edwina has been competing in the Gct since 2006 and is a veteran of the series. Edwina was selected for Rio 2016, her third Summer Olympics, and is the captain of the Australian Showjumping Team. Edwina personally thinks upcoming pony riders will definitely be jumping the major international tracks by the time. Tops-Alexander came second in the 2016 Longines Global Champions Tour, being beaten by Rolf Göran-Bengtsson.

She has starred in a number of films, with her breakthrough role in the 1986 Danish film Early Spring, directed by Astrid Henning-Jensen, playing the lead role in the film version of Tove Ditlevsen's novel Barndommens gade when she was 17 years old. On television she has starred in Taxa and Nikolaj og Julie.

Laura Tomlinson MBE is a German-born British dressage rider competing at Olympic level. As of 30 June 2012 the Fédération Équestre Internationale (FEI) ranked her 3rd in the world riding Mistral Højris and 36th on Andretti H. In that year, Tomlinson, riding Mistral Højris under her maiden name of Laura Bechtolsheimer, won two medals in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London; gold for Great Britain in the team dressage with Carl Hester and Charlotte Dujardin, the first ever Olympic team gold in the discipline for her country, and bronze in the individual dressage behind gold medalist and compatriot Dujardin.
Janne Friederike Meyer is a German rider who competes in show jumping. She was part of the German team winning the Gold medal at the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games. In 2012 Meyer participated in the Summer Olympics in London as part of the German show jumping team with her horse Lambrasco.

Nicola Wilson is a British equestrian rider specialising in three-day eventing. Riding Opposition Buzz, she won a team gold at the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games and team silver at the 2012 Olympic Games. She is also a five-time medallist at the European Championships, including team golds in 2009 and 2017, and individual bronze in 2017.
Jessica Rae Springsteen is an American equestrian. The daughter of musicians Bruce Springsteen and Patti Scialfa, she is a show jumping champion rider who has represented the United States Equestrian Team in international competition.

Trine became known when she along with Michael Teschl won Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 1999 and got to represent Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest 1999 in Jerusalem with the song "Denne Gang". The duo sang the English version of the song "This Time I mean It". In 2001, she participated in the first season of Popstars which was broadcast on TV2.
