Tina Lund (born 1981 in Dallas, Texas) is a Danish professional equestrian (show jumper) living in Skævinge, Nordsjælland in Danmark

Tina Lund is 19 times Danish Champion, three times Nordic Champion, and one time European Champion for "young riders" (riders under the age of 21). She was also the most winning Danish rider in 2006, and today the only rider to win the Nordic championship, Danish Championship and the European Championship in the same year. She is daughter of the former soccer player Flemming Lund. Lund lives at Stutteri Lyngsholm in Nordsjælland training the family's competition horses. She is engaged to former professional soccer player (wedding is planned to be held in Næstved 20 August 2011)[ when? ] Allan Nielsen. [1]

Besides her achievements in sports, she has become a national celebrity, appearing in national television, in a number of reality TV shows, posing semi-nude in a men's magazine, [2] she has released a pop single (singer) and regularly appears in mainstream gossip magazines.

Lund had her first pony when she was nine years old. It was a little grey category 3 pony, who was named Bolli. Tina Lund started with show jumping at the age of ten years, and holds a place in the Guinness World Records as the youngest Danish Champion (11 yrs) ever. [3]

Lund has also won two world cup qualifications; Mechelen in 2004 and Vigo in 2005 on the horse Andante as the first Danish rider, this qualified her for the World Cup final in Las Vegas 2005. [4] She is sponsored by equestrian equipment and apparel company, Horze. [5]

Other achievements:

Lund had her breakthrough as a celebrity in Denmark when she was pictured with little clothes in the man-magazine "M". After that she was invited to dance in the Danish version of "Dancing with the stars" (she came 2nd), and also some other popular reality shows in Denmark.

On 5 October 2009 she released her first single "Take a Ride", as according to her was meant as a tribute to all the horse-girls. Critics labelled it plain mainstream pop. [6]

Gillian Rolton Australian equestrian

Gillian Rolton, was an Australian Olympic equestrian champion. She competed in two Olympic Games, the 1992 Barcelona Games and 1996 Atlanta Games, winning a gold medal in team eventing both times on her horse, Peppermint Grove. At the 1996 Atlanta Games, she broke her collarbone and ribs, but remounted and completed the course. She was only one of four Australians to win multiple equestrian Olympic gold medals.

Beezie Madden American equestrian

Elizabeth Madden is an American Olympic champion equestrian competing in show jumping. She has two Olympic golds and one silver in team jumping, and an individual bronze. She won the FEI Show Jumping World Cup twice; won two silvers and two bronzes at World Championships; and won two golds, one silver and two bronzes at the Pan American Games. She was the first American to break into the international top three show jumping ranking, and the first woman to win over one million dollars in show jumping prize money.

Edwina Tops-Alexander is an Australian Olympic-level equestrian rider. Her coach and husband is former Dutch champion Jan Tops. Originating from the Suburbs of Sydney, Edwina started riding when she was 8 years old. By 1995 she had won the Australian Young Riders Championship. Edwina Debuted for Equestrian Australia in Hong Kong, in 1998. The same year, she moved to Europe She met Jan Tops in 2000. She uses the Netherlands as her base for most of the year at Stal Tops Valkenswaard. Edwina was formerly a member of the Shanghai Swans, a team participating in the Global Champions League, for the length of 2016. Edwina is regarded as the most successful Australian showjumper of the 2000s. She has broken many records, including being the first Australian to place inside the top 10 in the World Equestrian Games, and Edwina holds the record for the most money earned by a rider on the Global Champions Tour. Edwina has been competing in the Gct since 2006 and is a veteran of the series. Edwina was selected for Rio 2016, her third Summer Olympics, and is the captain of the Australian Showjumping Team. Edwina personally thinks upcoming pony riders will definitely be jumping the major international tracks by the time. Tops-Alexander came second in the 2016 Longines Global Champions Tour, being beaten by Rolf Göran-Bengtsson.

Sofie Gråbøl is a Danish actress. She has starred in a number of films, with her breakthrough role in the 1986 Danish film Early Spring, directed by Astrid Henning-Jensen, playing the lead role in the film version of Tove Ditlevsen's novel Barndommens gade when she was 17 years old. On television she has starred in Taxa and Nikolaj og Julie.

Laura Tomlinson British dressage rider

Laura Tomlinson MBE is a German-born British dressage rider competing at Olympic level. As of 30 June 2012 the Fédération Équestre Internationale (FEI) ranked her 3rd in the world riding Mistral Højris and 36th on Andretti H. In that year, Tomlinson, riding Mistral Højris under her maiden name of Laura Bechtolsheimer, won two medals in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London; gold for Great Britain in the team dressage with Carl Hester and Charlotte Dujardin, the first ever Olympic team gold in the discipline for her country, and bronze in the individual dressage behind gold medalist and compatriot Dujardin.
