Tinca (Hungarian : Tenke) is a commune in the south-central part of Bihor County, Crișana, Romania. It is composed of five villages: Belfir (Bélfenyér), Gurbediu (Tenkegörbed), Girișu Negru (Feketegyörös), Râpa (Körösmart), and Tinca.
It was first mentioned as a village in a Papal document in 1338.
It is known locally for its magnesium and calcium-rich mineral water springs.
The average elevation is 130 m (430 ft). Rainfall is about 750 mm (30 in) a year.
According to the 2011 census, Tinca commune had a population of 7,793, of which 60% were Romanian, 15% were Hungarian, 15% were Roma, and 10% were other.

Flowing through the Romanian towns of Ștei and Beiuș and crossing the border of Hungary, the river, now called Fekete-Körös, joins the Fehér-Körös a few kilometres north from Gyula to form the Körös river. In Romania, its length is 164 km (102 mi) and its basin size is 3,820 km2 (1,470 sq mi). Part of the water from the river Crișul Repede is diverted towards the Crișul Negru by the Criș Collector Canal.
