Belgica Glacier is a glacier 8 nautical miles (15 km) long, flowing into Trooz Glacier to the east of Lancaster Hill on Kiev Peninsula, on the west coast of Graham Land. It was first charted by the British Graham Land Expedition under John Rymill, 1934–37, and named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee in 1959 after the RV Belgica, the ship of the Belgian Antarctic Expedition under Gerlache which explored this area in 1897–99.
Bennett Platform is a high, nearly flat, snow-free mesa of dark rock of Antarctica, about 5 nautical miles (9 km) long and 2.5 nautical miles (5 km) wide, located immediately east of Mount Black, on the west side of Shackleton Glacier. It was discovered and photographed by U.S. Navy Operation Highjump (1946–47), on the flights of February 16, 1947, and named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for Floyd Bennett, copilot on the Byrd North Pole Flight of May 1926.
Bills Gulch is a glacier on the southeast side of Hemimont Plateau, the northern of two glaciers flowing east from the plateau upland into the head of Trail Inlet, on the east coast of Graham Land. This glacier was used by the sledge party under Paul H. Knowles which traversed the Antarctic Peninsula from the East Base of the United States Antarctic Service (USAS) on its way to Hilton Inlet in 1940. It was named by USAS for a lead dog that died at this point. The unlikely name has been approved because of its wide use on maps and in reports.
Hess Glacier is a glacier 5 nautical miles long, flowing east-northeast between steep rock walls to its terminus 10 nautical miles southwest of Monnier Point, on the east coast of Graham Land, Antarctica. It was charted in 1947 by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey, who named it for Hans Hess, a German glaciologist.
Brown Glacier is a large glacier on the west side of Latady Mountains, flowing south-southeast to join Ketchum Glacier, west of Gardner Inlet, on Lassiter Coast, Palmer Land. Mapped by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy aerial photographs, 1961–67. Named after Lawrence Edward Brown, a geologist who was a member of the USGS field party which crossed this glacier, 1969–70.
