The film is named on the popular dialogue of Sayaji Shinde in the Tollywood all-time record movie, Pokiri .

It is going to be directed by debutant Ramkumar, produced by SS Rao and launched with a muhurat on Thursday, 21 June 2007 at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad.
