The Tirana Olympic Park Feti Borova (Parku Olimpik “Feti Borova”) is a multi-purpose arena in Tirana, Albania. The Government of Albania held a public tender for the construction of a sports hall in order to host games.
The complex was inaugurated the 4 June 2017 with a basketball match between ex-players from the National Teams from Albania and Kosovo. [1] The Prime Minister, Edi Rama and the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj participated as well in that game.
The Olympic Park was built on the site of the Sports Complex of the Sports Services Agency, which was formerly known as the Dinamo Complex, near the Grand Park of Tirana. The former Dinamo Complex used to be a reception centre for Kosovar citizens during the Kosovo War of 1999.
The original design for the Olympic Park was released on 28 April 2014, and the Prime Minister, Edi Rama officially unveiled the project at the 'Hall of Maps' in the Prime Ministers Office in a meeting with prominent Albanian sports personalities including Erkand Qerimaj, Daniel Godelli and Luiza Gega. [2] On 10 September 2014 a budget of 605,262,310 Albanian lek was approved, which was around 4,323,302 Euros at the time, thus paving the way for companies to tender offers for the construction of the Olympic Park. Edi Rama is an Albanian politician and painter who has been serving as the 33rd and incumbent prime minister of Albania since 2013 and chairman of the Socialist Party of Albania since 2005. He was Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports from 1998 to 2000. First elected mayor of Tirana in 2000, he was reelected in 2003 and 2007.

The Loro Boriçi Stadium, previously known as Vojo Kushi Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Shkodër, Albania, which is used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Vllaznia. The stadium has a capacity of around 16,000 seated.
Klubi i Futbollit Vllaznia Shkodër, commonly known as Vllaznia is an Albanian football club based in the city of Shkodër. It is the association football branch of the Vllaznia Sports Club, which was founded on 16 February 1919. It is also the oldest club in Albania which means it is the first club created in Albania. In March 2020, the National Theatre of Albania was selected by Europa Nostra among the 7 most endangered monuments in Europe, as an exceptional example of modern Italian architecture from the 1930s and one of the most prominent cultural centers in Albania, facing impending threat of demolition. On 17 May 2020, the National Theatre building was demolished.
The Albanian Basketball Cup, is the top annual national basketball cup competition in Albania. It was created in 1951 by the Albanian Basketball Association and the sides with the most titles are Tirana, who have won the competition on 20 occasions.

All staff at the Iranian embassy in Tirana were ordered to leave Albania. On 1 February 2024, Albania accused a hacker group "backed" by the Iranian government of carrying out an attack on the country's Institute of Statistics.
Linda Rama is a senior Albanian economist, researcher, university lecturer, and advocate for women's and children's rights. She is the wife of Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Feti Borova was an Albanian basketball coach and basketball player. From 1992 until 1995, he was the president of the Albanian Basketball Federation. The Tirana Olympic Park was named after him.
