Tiyu Xilu Station (simplified Chinese :体育西路站; traditional Chinese :體育西路站; Jyutping :tai2 juk6 sai1 lou6 zaam6; Cantonese Yale :Táiyuhk Sāilouh Jaahm; lit.'Sports (Centre) Road West Station') is an interchange station on Line 1 and Line 3 of the Guangzhou Metro. It started operations on 28 June 1999 (for Line 1) and 26 December 2005 (for Line 3). It is situated under Tiyu Road West (体育西路) and Tianhe 1st South Road (天河南一路) in the Tianhe District of Guangzhou. It is near Teemall (天河城广场) and Guangzhou Books Center (广州购书中心), which makes it one of the busiest metro stations in Guangzhou.
The platforms for Line 1 are in the standard island platform layout whilst on Line 3 there are two island platforms serving three tracks. Northbound services to Tianhe Coach Terminal and southbound services to Panyu Square use the outer tracks whilst the train service to the airport uses the single centre track. The doors open on both sides of the centre track to allow cross-platform interchange in both directions.
The station was designated as busiest in the country by a fair margin with 1,252,064 passengers per day in 2017.

The Guangzhou Metro is the rapid transit system of the city of Guangzhou in the Guangdong Province of China. It is operated by the state-owned Guangzhou Metro Corporation and was the fourth metro system to be built in mainland China, after those of Beijing, Tianjin, and Shanghai.
Tianhe Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Tianhe District, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. It is currently used for football matches.
Tianhe District is one of the eleven districts of Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province. In Chinese, the name Tianhe literally means "a river in the sky/heavens", which is also a Chinese name for the Milky Way. It is bordered by Yuexiu District on the west, Baiyun District on the north and Huangpu District on the east. Haizhu District is on its south, though they are separated by the Pearl River.

Yuexiu District is one of 11 urban districts of the prefecture-level city of Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong Province, China, located west of the Tianhe District and east of the Liwan District. It is the commercial, political and cultural centre of Guangdong and noted for its high-quality education. The Guangdong provincial government and the Guangzhou city government are both located in the Yuexiu District. Established in 1960, the district absorbed the former Dongshan District in May 2005 along with several former subdistricts of the Baiyun and Tianhe district. Yuexiu District has 18 streets under its jurisdiction. The total area is 33.8 square kilometers. According to the seventh census data, as of 0:00 on November 1, 2020, the resident population of Yuexiu District was 1,038,643.
Tianhe Sports Center Station is a station on Line 1 of the Guangzhou Metro that started operations on 28 June 1999. It is situated under Tiyu East Road (体育东路) next to the Tianhe Sports Center in the Tianhe District, near Guangzhou Computer Town (广州电脑城).
Tianhe Coach Terminal Station is a terminus on Line 3 of the Guangzhou Metro, as well as a station on Guangzhou Metro's Line 6. It started operations on 30 December 2006. It is located under the junction of Tianyuan Road (天源路) and the Guangzhou North Ring Expressway (广州北环高速公路) in the Tianhe District. It is also located at the East Square of the Tianhe Coach Terminal, which has services to other locations in Guangdong and other provinces. Line 6 started operations on 28 December 2013.
Shipaiqiao Station is a station of Line 3 of the Guangzhou Metro. It started operations on 30 December 2006. It is located in Tianhe District, underneath Tianhe Road between East Tianhe Road and East Tiyu Road.
Panyu Square station is a station of Line 3, Line 18 and Line 22 of the Guangzhou Metro. Line 3 started operation on 30 December 2006, Line 18 started operation on 28 September 2021 and Line 22 started operation on 31 March 2022.
Guangzhounan railway station is located in Shibi, Panyu District, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China. It is a large modern rail terminal 17 kilometres (11 mi) south of central Guangzhou. For a brief time it was Asia's largest railway station by area when it officially started operation in early 2010.
Line 1 of the Guangzhou Metro runs from Xilang to Guangzhou East Railway Station. Apart from Kengkou and Xilang, all stations in Line 1 are underground. The first section, from Xilang to Huangsha, opened on 28 June 1997, making Guangzhou the fourth city in mainland China to have a metro system. Construction took a total of 66 months. The total investment is 12.2616 billion yuan with an average cost per kilometer of 662.9 million yuan. The full line started operation on 28 June 1999. Line 1 is coloured yellow.
Line 3 of the Guangzhou Metro is a 65.43-kilometer (40.66 mi) rapid transit line connects Panyu Square to Tianhe Coach Terminal. The entire line, including all track and stations, is located in tunnels. Its 57.93 km (36.00 mi) main branch, excluding the 7.5 km (4.66 mi) branch between Tianhe Coach Terminal and Tiyu Xilu, is now the third longest continuous subway tunnel in the world, and the longest rail tunnel of any kind.
Zoo Station, formerly planned to be called Guangzhou Zoo South Entrance Station, is a station on Line 5 of the Guangzhou Metro. It is located below the junction of Tianhe Road (天河路), East Huanshi Road and Shuiyin Road in the Yuexiu District, near the south gate of Guangzhou Zoological Garden (广州动物园). It opened on 28 December 2009.
Tianhe Sports Center South Station is a metro station on the Guangzhou Metro APM line. It is located below the entrance to the Tianhe Sports Center (天河体育中心) in Tianhe Road (天河路) in the Tianhe District, 200 metres (660 ft) from Tianhe Sports Center station on Line 1 of the metro. It started operation on 8 November 2010.
Guangzhou–Foshan circular intercity railway, also known as the Guangfo ring intercity railway, is a regional rail in the Pearl River Delta Metropolitan Region intercity railway system. The line will form a ring around Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. The first section between Guangzhou South to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport started construction in 2016. The line will operate with China Railway CRH6 EMUs running every 2.5 minutes.
Guangzhou Nanfang International School is an international school on the property of the South Industrial Park, in Longdong Subdistrict, Tianhe District, Guangzhou. The school serves students ages 2.5 to 17, from early childhood to secondary school.
Line 18 of the Guangzhou Metro is a rapid transit express line in Guangzhou with trains operating up to 160 km/h (99 mph). It will run in a south-north direction, connecting Wanqingsha in Nansha District, Panyu Square in Panyu District, Modiesha in Haizhu District, Zhujiang New Town and Guangzhou East Railway Station in Tianhe District. The line commenced service on 28 September 2021.
Line 22 of the Guangzhou Metro is a partially open rapid transit express line in Guangzhou with trains operating up to 160 km/h (99 mph). It runs between Panyu Square and Chentougang, passing Guangzhou South Railway Station in Panyu District, and will eventually run in a north-south direction passing Xilang and Fangcun in Liwan District. Currently, there are train attendants on board each train. In the future, trains will operate fully driverless GoA4 mode when sufficient reliability from the signaling system has been confirmed.
Panyu railway station is a railway station currently under construction in Panyu District, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. It is scheduled to open in 2021 with the Southern section of Guangzhou–Foshan circular intercity railway. It is situated underneath the existing Guangzhou South railway station, allowing for transfer between the two.
