Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour was the first of two theatrical productions by Cirque du Soleil to combine the music of Michael Jackson with Cirque du Soleil's signature acrobatic performance style. The show was written and directed by Jamie King and produced in partnership with the Estate of Michael Jackson. The arena show—which is very similar to a rock concert—began its tour on October 2, 2011, in Montreal. After touring North America for one year, Immortal continued through Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East before returning to North America in February 2014 for a total of 501 shows from 141 cities. It is the most financially successful Cirque production and highest grossing tribute show in history.

The Wrecking Ball World Tour was a concert tour by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band to promote Springsteen's seventeenth studio album, Wrecking Ball, which was released on March 5, 2012. It was the first tour for the E Street Band without founding member Clarence Clemons, who died on June 18, 2011. The worldwide tour in support of the album, which ended in September 2013, reached 26 countries, the most ever for one of Springsteen's tours. The tour resumed in January 2014 to promote Springsteen's new album, High Hopes, and went under that album's name.

The Red Tour was the fourth concert tour by the American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, launched in support of her fourth studio album, Red (2012). The tour started on March 13, 2013, at CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Nebraska and concluded on June 12, 2014, at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore. The tour was attended by 1.7 million people and grossed $150.2 million in revenue, becoming the highest-grossing country tour of all time upon its completion. The Red Tour received generally positive reviews from music critics. It won Top Package at the Billboard Touring Awards.
The Set the World on Fire Tour was the fifth concert tour by American recording artist Alicia Keys in support of her fifth studio album, Girl on Fire (2012). The tour ranked 22nd on Pollstar's annual "Top 100 Worldwide Tours – Year End". It earned nearly $44 million from 70/74 shows.
The Moonshine Jungle Tour was the third concert tour by American singer-songwriter Bruno Mars. The tour supported his second studio album, Unorthodox Jukebox (2012), from June 2013 to October 2014. After an official announcement on February 10, 2013, which coincided with Mars's performance at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, a promotional trailer and behind-the-scenes footage of the tour were released through Mars's official YouTube channel and website. Mars and his team selected Ellie Goulding and Fitz and the Tantrums as the opening acts for the first North American leg, while music video director Cameron Duddy was signed as creative director for the tour in North America. In Europe and Oceania, Mayer Hawthorne and Miguel, respectively, were selected to open the shows.
Out There was a concert tour by English singer-songwriter Paul McCartney lasting from 4 May 2013 to 22 October 2015. Some notable nights of the tour included concerts at Warsaw's National Stadium, Verona's Roman Amphitheatre, and Vienna's Happel Stadium, the latter of which he would play for the first time since 2003's Back in the World tour. McCartney played in Belo Horizonte, Cariacica, Goiânia and Fortaleza, all in Brazil and in Japan for the first time since the Driving World Tour back in 2002.
The Where We Are Tour was the third headlining concert tour by English-Irish boy band One Direction, in support of their third studio album, Midnight Memories (2013). It marks the group's first all-stadium tour with an average attendance of 49,848. The tour began on 25 April 2014 in Bogotá, Colombia and concluded on 5 October 2014 in Miami, Florida. Australian pop rock band, 5 Seconds of Summer, served as the opening act for the European and North American dates.

The Demi World Tour was the fourth headlining concert tour and second worldwide tour by American singer Demi Lovato. It was her second tour in support of her fourth studio album Demi (2013), following The Neon Lights Tour. During most of the European tour dates in 2014, Lovato was the opening act for Enrique Iglesias' Sex and Love Tour. The tour was produced and promoted by Live Nation, and sponsored by the Tampax and Always Radiant Collection. The first leg of the tour took place in the United States and Canada from September 6, 2014, to October 27, 2014, when Christina Perri and MKTO were the opening acts. Lovato toured Oceania and Asia in early 2015.
