Toguéré Coumbé is a village and commune of the Cercle of Ténenkou in the Mopti Region of Mali. The commune contains 32 villages [3] and in 2009 had a population of 27,057. [2]

The village is 75 km northeast of Ténenkou and 80 km northwest of Mopti, near the right bank of the Diaka Channel, a distributary of the Niger River that only fills when the Niger is in flood. The commune occupies part of the Inner Niger Delta and from July to December much of the commune is under water and many villages are only accessible by boat.

The market that is held in the village on Saturdays serves many settlements in the surrounding region. [4]

Diafarabé Commune and village in Mopti Region, Mali

Diafarabé is a village and rural commune of the Cercle of Ténenkou in the Mopti Region of Mali. The commune is at the southern boundary of the cercle. It covers an area of approximately 980 square kilometers and extends on both sides of the Niger River. The commune includes 10 villages and in the 2009 census had a population of 15,748. The main village of Diafarabé, the chef-lieu, is situated on the north bank of the river next to the junction with the Diaka Channel, a distributary that only flows when the Niger is in flood.

Konna is a town and rural commune in the Cercle of Mopti in the Mopti Region of Mali. The town lies 60 km northeast of Mopti on the eastern edge of the flood plain of the Niger River. The main RN16 highway linking Sévaré and Gao branches to the east just to the south of the town. The commune has an area of approximately 838 km2 and contains the town and 24 of the surrounding villages. In the 2009 census, it had a population of 36,767.

Bassirou is a commune in the Cercle of Mopti in the Mopti Region of Mali. The main village of Sampara is located 20 km north of Sévaré between the RN15 and the Niger River. In 2009 the commune had a population of 2,064.

Dallah is a village and rural commune in the Cercle of Douentza in the Mopti Region of Mali. The village is located close to the southern edge of the Gandamia Massif, an inselberg that rises 750 m above the plain. The massif extends for 60 km in an east-west direction and 10 km north to south. The metalled road, the RN16, that run between Mopti and Gao passes to the south of the village. The commune contains 12 villages and in the 2009 census had a population of 8,504.

Pel Maoudé is a village and rural commune and seat of the Cercle of Koro in the Mopti Region of Mali. The commune covers an area of approximately 203 square kilometers and includes 9 villages. In the 2009 census the commune had a population of 13,727.

Ténenkou is a village and commune and seat of the Ténenkou Cercle in the Mopti Region of Mali. In 2009 the commune had a population of 11,310.

Diondiori is a small town and commune of the Cercle of Ténenkou in the Mopti Region of Mali. The commune includes 27 villages and in 2009 had a population of 20,160.

Farimaké is a commune of the Cercle of Youwarou in the Mopti Region of Mali. The local government is based in the village of Gathi-Loumbo. The commune covers an area of 3,148 km2. It is bounded to the west by the commune of Youwarou, to the north by the communes of Dianké, Léré and Alzounoub, to the east by the commune of Nampalari and to the south by the communes of Kareri, Toguéré Coumbé and Bimbere Tama. The commune lies to the west of the Issa-Ber, the larger of the two branches of the Niger River that flow out of Lake Débo. Ouro Ali is a rural commune of the Cercle of Djenné in the Mopti Region of Mali. The commune includes the villages of Senossa, Koloye, Ouro Djikoye, Siratintin, Weraka, Wono, Kotola, Djimatogo, Ali Samba, Kandia and Somena. The administrative center (chef-lieu) is the village of Senossa. In the census of 2009 the commune had a population of 10,354.

Togué Mourari is a rural commune of the Cercle of Djenné in the Mopti Region of Mali. The commune contains 11 villages. The administrative center (chef-lieu) is the village of Mourrah.

Karéri is a commune of the Cercle of Ténenkou in the Mopti Region of Mali. The main village and local government centre (chef-lieu) is Dioura. In 2009 the commune had a population of 28,414.

Ouro Ardo is a commune of the Cercle of Ténenkou in the Mopti Region of Mali. The local government is based in the village of Kondo. The commune includes 29 small villages and in 2009 had a population of 9,114.

Ouro Guiré is a commune of the Cercle of Ténenkou in the Mopti Region of Mali. The commune lies to the southeast of the small town of Ténenkou in the Inner Niger Delta. It is crossed by the Diaka, a branch of the Niger River that flows only when the river is in flood. The principal village is Koubi. The commune contains 15 small villages and in 2009 had a population of 9,289. Most of the population are Fulani with some Bozo. Traditionally, the Fulani raise livestock while the Bozo are fishermen.

Sougoulbé is a commune of the Cercle of Ténenkou in the Mopti Region of Mali. The principal village is Kora. The commune contains 17 small villages and in 2009 had a population of 9,099.

Togoro Kotia is a commune of the Cercle of Ténenkou in the Mopti Region of Mali. The principal village lies at Sossobé. The commune contains 13 villages and in 2009 had a population of 13,687.

Diaka is a commune of the Cercle of Ténenkou in the Mopti Region of Mali. The principal village lies at Dia. In 2009 the commune had a population of 19,763.
