Tokyo Marble Chocolate (東京マーブルチョコレート,TōkyōMāburu Chokorēto) is a Japanese anime OVA directed by Naoyoshi Shiotani,animated by Production I.G. [1] and,based on Fumiko Tanikawa's manga of the same title.
In October 2007,it was screened at the Tokyo International Film Festival [2] .
The animation is a collaboration between Production I.G and BMG Japan in commemoration of both companies' 20th anniversaries. [3] The story follows a young man and woman,both unlucky in love,as they begin to fall in love on Christmas Day - thanks to the intrusive actions of a Mini Donkey and the romantic backdrop of Tokyo Tower.
Chizuru loves Yuudai;Yuudai loves Chizuru. Yet,neither of them can say it clearly because,not only are they both uncertain about the other's feelings but,a mutual fear of hurt stemming from failed relationships in their pasts continues a pattern of misunderstandings. So trapped by their insecurities that their relationship is going nowhere,they drift further and further apart. While Chizuru thinks this is the end of the road,Yuudai struggles desperately to overcome his cowardly nature before he loses what is most important to him. There are two sides to every story,every relationship;but can love survive if both sides can't meet halfway?!
Tokyo Marble Chocolate was awarded the Grand Prize in the Feature Film Category of the 12th Seoul International Cartoon &Animation Festival (SICAF 2008),held in Seoul,Republic of Korea,from May 21 to 25,2008.[ citation needed ]
The jury was composed of Giannalberto Bendazzi (a professor of the history of animation at Milano State University in Italy),Noriko T. Wada (a Japanese producer) and Kyung-jo Min (a South Korean director). The award ceremony took place in Seoul on May 25,2008.[ citation needed ]
Tatsunoko Production Co.,Ltd. and often shortened to Tatsunoko Pro,is a Japanese animation company. The studio's name has a double meaning in Japanese:"Tatsu's child" and "sea dragon",the inspiration for its seahorse logo. Tatsunoko's headquarters are in Musashino,Tokyo.

In 2006,Madhouse's parent company at the time,Index Holdings,invested 600 million yen. Kanokon (かのこん) is a Japanese light novel series by Katsumi Nishino,with illustrations by Koin. The first novel was released by Media Factory on October 31,2005 under its MF Bunko J imprint,and it published 15 volumes until December 24,2010. A manga adaptation illustrated by Rin Yamaki was serialized in Media Factory's seinen manga magazine Monthly Comic Alive between the August 2006 and August 2010 issues. A drama CD was produced by Media Factory and released on March 28,2007. A twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by Xebec aired in Japan between April and June 2008 on AT-X,and has been licensed by Media Blasters for release in North America. A two-part OVA sequel aired on AT-X in October 2009. A visual novel named Kanokon Esuii developed by 5pb. was released for the PlayStation 2 on July 31,2008.
Kimi ni Todoke:From Me to You is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Karuho Shiina. It was published by Shueisha in Bessatsu Margaret from 2005 to 2017 and collected in 30 tankōbon volumes. In 2008,it won the Best Shōjo Manga award in the 32nd Annual Kodansha Manga Award. The series was also nominated for the first Manga Taisho awards in 2008. Two anime adaptations of Kimi ni Todoke were aired in Japan,produced by Production I.G. The second season of the anime was announced in Betsuma Magazine,began airing in Japan on January 4,2011,and lasted for 12 episodes. A live action film adaptation was released in 2010 starring Mikako Tabe and Haruma Miura. A live-action series produced by TV Tokyo and Netflix premiered in March 2023.
Psycho-Pass is a Japanese cyberpunk psychological thriller anime television series produced by Production I.G. It was co-directed by Naoyoshi Shiotani and Katsuyuki Motohiro and written by Gen Urobuchi,with character designs by Akira Amano and featuring music by Yugo Kanno. The series aired on Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block between October 2012 and March 2013. Set in a dystopia of Sibyl System's governance of Japan,the plot follows the young woman Akane Tsunemori. She is introduced as a novice Inspector assigned to Division One of the Public Safety Bureau's Criminal Investigation Division,in charge of solving crimes with latent criminals,Enforcers.
Shinya Kogami is the protagonist introduced in the 2012 anime series Psycho-Pass. A police officer in a cyberpunk dystopia,Kogami becomes obsessed with murdering Shogo Makishima,a criminal mastermind responsible for the death of one of Kogami's former allies. The character has also appeared in manga and novel adaptations of the series,a prequel manga series,a stage play and the films Psycho-Pass:The Movie (2015) and Psycho-Pass:Sinners of the System Case.3 On the Other Side of Love and Hate (2019),which focuses on Kogami's life after the events of the first anime season. He reappears in the third television season,Psycho-Pass 3, as a supporting character. Additional novels and manga explore Kogami's work as an Inspector years before the start of the television series.
Shogo Makishima is a fictional character who was introduced as the main antagonist in Production I.G's anime series Psycho-Pass. Makishima is responsible for several crimes,and the main cast,the Public Safety Bureau officers,are in search of him. He advocates the destruction of the futuristic society created by the Sybil System,in which people are treated according to their stress level rather than free will;Instead Makishima values past societies where people used to express themselves more. In his quest to destroy the Sibyl System,Makishima stands against multiple detectives,most notably the protagonist,detective Shinya Kogami,whom he also relates due to both sharing the same hatred for the current opressed society. Makishima appears in most of the series' print adaptations,and makes cameo appearances in the films Psycho-Pass:The Movie (2015) and Psycho-Pass:Sinners of the System (2019).
Psycho-Pass 2 is a 2014 anime television series by Tatsunoko Production that serves as a direct sequel and de facto second season to the 2012 anime television series Psycho-Pass. The series takes place in an authoritarian future,where omnipresent public sensors continuously scan the Psycho-Pass of every citizen in range. The sensors measure mental state,personality,and the probability that the citizen will commit crimes,alerting authorities when someone exceeds accepted norms. The story once again follows the Public Safety Bureau's Criminal Investigation Division,led by Inspector Akane Tsunemori,as they are caught up in another mysterious case. Psycho-Pass 2 aired on Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block between October and December 2014.

Naoyoshi Shiotani is a Japanese director who was worked into multiple works from the studio Production I.G. He is famous for directing all Psycho-Pass works. He was voted the third director in Newtype's anime awards.
Mika Shimotsuki is a fictional character,introduced in the anime Psycho-Pass by Production I.G. A minor character in the 2012 series,Shimotsuki's role has gained importance in the sequels,in which she becomes an inspector working in Unit One,an organization fighting crimes in a future where people live according to the will of the Sybl System. She has returned in following media,most notably as a protagonist in the first film of the Psycho-Pass:Sinners of the System trilogy. By Psycho-Pass 3,Shimotsuki has become the leader of Unit One,looking after the new cast. She is voiced by Ayane Sakura.
