The Tokyo Seikatsusha Network (東京・生活者ネットワーク, Tōkyō Seikatsusha Nettowāku) is a local Japanese political party affiliated with Tokyo Seikatsu Club, a consumer's cooperative. It is generally moderate left, and tends to appeal to the same voters as the Social Democratic Party of Japan and Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan.

People's Life First was a short-lived political party in Japan. It had 37 out of the 480 seats in the House of Representatives, and 12 in the 242-member House of Councillors. On 28 November 2012, the party merged into Governor of Shiga Yukiko Kada's Japan Future Party based in Ōtsu.

2017 Tokyo prefectural election

Prefectural elections for the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly were held on 2 July 2017. The 127 members were elected in forty-two electoral districts, seven returning single members elected by first-past-the-post, and thirty-five returning multiple members under single non-transferable vote. Four districts had their magnitude adjusted in this election to match population changes.

2020 Summer Paralympics torch relay

The 2020 Summer Paralympics torch relay was held from 12 August 2021 to 24 August 2021. After being lit in multiple locations in Japan and Great Britain, the torch will travel around Japan and will end in Tokyo's New National Stadium, the main venue of the 2020 Summer Paralympics. The relay will take place in a minor scale than the Olympic relay, starting in Tokyo, and local flames are to be lighted through Saitama, Chiba and Shizuoka prefectures where events of the games will be held. The end of the relay will be the closing to the 2020 Summer Paralympics opening ceremony. The LIXIL Corporation is the presenting partner of the torch relay.

Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World is an anime adaptation of a light novel series written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichirou Otsuka. The 25-episode series aired from April 4, 2016 to September 19, 2016, with an extended 50-minute first episode. It was broadcast on TV Tokyo. The series was simulcast by Crunchyroll. The first opening theme song was "Redo" by Konomi Suzuki, and the first ending theme was "STYX HELIX" and for episode 7 was "STRAIGHT BET", both sung by MYTH&ROID. The second opening theme song, titled "Paradisus-Paradoxum", is performed by MYTH&ROID, while the second ending theme song, titled "Stay Alive", is performed by Rie Takahashi; for episode 14 it was "theater D", sung by MYTH&ROID.

Kenkō de Bunkateki na Saitei Gendo no Seikatsu is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Haruko Kashiwagi. It has been serialized in Shogakukan's seinen manga magazine Weekly Big Comic Spirits since March 2014. A ten-episode television drama adaptation, known as Caseworker's Diary – Constitutional Rights, was broadcast on Fuji TV from July to September 2018. In 2019, the manga won the 64th Shogakukan Manga Award in the general category.
