Tolga (Arabic : طولقة) is a municipality in Biskra Province, Algeria. Located in south-east Algeria, 363 km south of the capital Algiers(34° 43' 00" N and 5° 23' 00" E). Tolga is well known internationally for high-quality dates (Deglet Nour). It has more than 500,000 date palm trees. Most dates produced are exported.
The Tolga Oasis was occupied by the Romans during republican times and a small town established at Lioua about 8km south. Large rectangular stones from the Roman era have been found in old Tolga testify to their presence in the Oasis.
The city was the headquarters of the powerful Confederation of Dhouaouda and Ryah from Beni Hilal, a Bedouin clan from southern Egypt where they have migrated under the leadership of the Fatimids between the 10th and 11th centuries.
According to the Andalusian historian and geographer Al-Bakri, "Tolga north of Bentious, consists of several cities (...) One of those cities is inhabited by people of mixed blood, the other by Arabs of Yemeni origin, and the third by a people belonging to Qays. "

Commonly referred to as the "queen of all dates", the authentic Algerian Deglet Nour date has a soft touch, a translucent light color and a soft honey-like taste, characteristics which distinguish it from other dates.

Cervellati Glacier is the 5 nmi long glacier situated southeast of Patton Glacier and northwest of Ramorino Glacier on the east slope of Sentinel Range in the Ellsworth Mountains, Antarctica. It flows northeastwards between Tyree Ridge and Epperly Ridge, and enters Crosswell Glacier southeast of Mount Bearskin. The feature was named by US-ACAN in 2006 after Roberto Cervellati, Italian representative to the SCAR Expert Group on Geographic Information, 1992–2006, and director of the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica in the same period.
Darb El Arba'īn is the easternmost of the great north-south Trans-Saharan trade routes. The Darb El Arba'īn route was used to move trade goods, livestock and slaves via a chain of oases from the interior of Africa to portage on the Nile River and thence to the rest of the world.
