Tolhuin Department (Spanish : Departamento Tolhuin) is a department of Argentina in Tierra del Fuego Province, Argentina. Previously part of the Río Grande Department, it was established as a separate department on October 27, 2017, by law of the provincial legislature. [1] [2] Tolhuin is the capital city of the department. [3]
Tierra del Fuego, officially the Province of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands, is the southernmost, smallest, and least populous Argentine province. The provincial capital city is Ushuaia, from a native word meaning "bay towards the end".

Leonel Godoy Rangel is a Mexican lawyer, politician, and former Governor of Michoacán. He is a former president of the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD). Godoy hails from the coastal region of Michoacán.

Tolhuin is a town in the province of Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. It has 9,879 inhabitants as per the 2022 census. It is located on the eastern shore of Lake Fagnano, in the southern part of the Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego. It is the third largest settlement on the Argentine side of Tierra del Fuego after Ushuaia and Río Grande.

The municipality of Bella Unión is one of the municipalities of Artigas Department, Uruguay, established on 13 September 2009. Its seat is the city of Bella Unión. It replaced the Autonomous and Elective Local Board of Bella Union created in 1994.
Atilio Francisco Salvador Benedetti is an Argentine bromatologist, businessman and politician. A member of the Radical Civic Union, Benedetti served as intendente (mayor) of his hometown of Larroque from 1995 to 1999, and as a member of the board of directors of the Banco Nación from 2015 to 2017. Later, from 2017 to 2021, he served as a National Deputy.
