Thomas Leo Cleary [1] (October 30, 1922 – June 20, 2009) was a Canadian football player who played for the Edmonton Eskimos [2] He was a former Washington Redskins tackle. He also played for the Hawaiian Warriors of the Pacific Coast Professional Football League and won an award for the most outstanding lineman. [3] [4]

Cleary was from Oakland, California and attended Roosevelt High School there and later Saint Mary's College in Moraga, California where he played college football. [5] [n1] He was a veteran of World War II with the United States Marine Corps, [6] having served in the Marine Raiders battalion commanded by Evans Carlson and reaching the rank of captain. [7] [8] Cleary married Isabel Lloyd, who was from Alberta. [9] He died in 2009. [10]

The 1958 CFL season was the inaugural season of the Canadian Football League, although the season structure was essentially identical to that of the previous season conducted under the Canadian Football Council. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Winnipeg Blue Bombers met again for Canadian football supremacy. The Blue Bombers turned the tables on the Tiger-Cats this time, winning their first Grey Cup since 1941.

Tom Scott is a former Canadian Football League receiver for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Edmonton Eskimos and Calgary Stampeders. He was drafted in the 1973 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions. In an 11-year professional career from 1974–1984, he caught 649 passes for 10,837 yards and 88 touchdowns. Scott was a part of five Grey Cup winning teams with the Eskimos. He is a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame, where he was inducted in 1998.

Justin Charles Medlock is an American professional football placekicker who is currently a free agent. He most recently played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football for the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and earned consensus All-American honors. The Kansas City Chiefs selected him in the fifth round of the 2007 NFL Draft. Medlock has also played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Toronto Argonauts and Edmonton Eskimos of the CFL, as well as the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL).

Isaiah "Ike" Charlton is a former professional Canadian football linebacker and currently the defensive backs coach for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). As a player, he spent most of his professional career playing for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the CFL. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round of the 2000 NFL Draft. Cody Michael Fajardo is an American professional Canadian football quarterback for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Nevada and was their starting quarterback from 2011 to 2014. Fajardo accounted for over 13,000 yards and 101 touchdowns in his career at Nevada. He has also been a member of the Oakland Raiders, BC Lions, and Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Kevin Mason is a former American football quarterback who played four seasons in the Canadian Football League with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and Edmonton Eskimos. He played college football at Syracuse University and attended West Seneca East Senior High School in West Seneca, New York. He was also a member of the Oakland Raiders, Montreal Alouettes, Buffalo Destroyers, Philadelphia Soul, Canton Legends and Erie RiverRats.
