Top Model Türkiye (English: Top Model Turkey) was a Turkish reality competition produced by D Productions, broadcast by Star TV and part of the Top Model series created by Tyra Banks. The show was cancelled after the first season due to low ratings. It was won by Selda Car. Şeyma Subaşı and Senem Kuyucuoğlu, two other finalists have gone on to become prominent models with Kuyucuoğlu finishing second at the 2009 Miss Turkey national pageant and representing her nation at the 2009 Miss Universe pageant.
Auditions were held across several Turkish provinces. Out of 20 shortlisted, 12 were selected by the jury to enter the final and moved to a luxury villa in Zekeriyaköy.

A beauty pageant or beauty contest is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants, although most contests have evolved to also incorporate personality traits, intelligence, talent, and a contestant's ability to answer judges' questions on various subjects as judged criteria. The term refers largely to contests for women such as the Big Four international beauty pageants. Hundreds of thousands of beauty contests are held annually, but the Big Four are considered the most prestigious, widely covered and broadcast by media. The Wall Street Journal, BBC News, CNN, Xinhua News Agency, and global news agencies such as Reuters, Associated Press and Agence France-Presse collectively refer to the four major pageants as "Big Four" namely: Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International, and Miss Earth.
Miss World is the oldest-running international beauty pageant. It was created in the United Kingdom by Eric Morley in 1951. Since his death in 2000, Morley's widow, Julia Morley, has co-chaired the pageant. Along with Miss Universe, Miss International and Miss Earth, this pageant is one of the Big Four international beauty pageants and the most coveted title of international pageant competitions.
Miss Venezuela is the national beauty pageant of Venezuela, traditionally held in September. It is preceded by two or three months of preliminary events, with the awarding of corporate prizes. The final televised competition generally lasts about four hours and is broadcast live across Latin America by Venevisión and produced by the networks parent company Cisneros Group, with edited versions to the United States and Mexico on the Univision and Telemundo networks. Nájera was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Rosa María Ojeda. She is the first and only Guanajuatense to win this title.
The 15th annual Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Arena Monterrey of Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico on September 20, 2008. Thirty-three contestants competed for the national title, which was won by Karla Carrillo from Jalisco, who later competed in Miss Universe 2009 in The Bahamas. Carrillo was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Elisa Nájera. She was the second Jalisciense to win this Title.

Senem Kuyucuoğlu is a Turkish TV Host, model and beauty pageant titleholder who won the Best Model of Turkey 2007 and Miss Turkey 2009 first runner-up titles. Since her debut, Kuyucuoğlu has been the face of a variety of advertising campaigns in Turkey.

She is now a practicing Attorney at Law in New Orleans, Louisiana at Candice Bennatt Law.

Stephanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico crowned her successor Manushi Chhillar of India at the end of the event. She is the sixth Indian woman to win Miss World.
